The 6th and 7th of September there will be a CalROCS event in Goldendale, WA. Sounds like the Spokane event may not happen this year, but this event is confirmed. I haven't decided if I'm going to go, but I sure would like to.

Ok I just back from Goldendale and here is the scope that I've got right now.

We set the course's, more big climbs on sunday then on Saturday.

Sat ledges will be 4-6 foot and the courses are techincal, this is not a UROC drag race up a chute, This will be rock CRAWLING....

Band at the park on Friday noght at 8, along with the JayCees setting up a beer garden.

Parade of competition vehicles at 7:15pm friday night.

Saturday competition will start at 11am (time to recover)

Saturday night block party on Goldendales main street, with band.

Sunday comp will again start at 11am finish about 4 awards at 5pm

More infor about camping and stuff early next week (I need to compile it all).

Name of the event will be "Rumble on the Roc's"

1pm –7pm Competitor sign-in and vehicle tech (Car Quest
Auto Parts, 614 S. Columbus
St. Goldendale) All vehicles will be displayed on
Columbus Street after Tech
and before parade.
7:30pm Competition vehicle parade thru downtown.
8pm Judges meeting (location to announced)
8pm Get together (band and JayCee’s beer garden) at
the City Park.

Saturday, September 6th
8am –10am Late registration and tech (fairgrounds)
10am Drivers meetings
11am Start of competition
3:30pm Projected end of first day competition
8pm Street Party Downtown (Band)

Sunday, September 7th
10am Drivers meeting
11am Start of competition
3:30pm Projected end of competition
4:30pm Awards Presentation (fairgrounds)
