I'm probably gonna have to back out of this one. I'm currently looking for a trail rig to build up. You won't see the runner on the trails much, even with the 4.88 gears I just installed this weekend.

The Rodeo isn't going to make it.I was hoping it would but it is dead in the driveway.

Spent all this time trying to get all the new parts on and the damn thing dies on me.
Hopefully I can get it up and running soon to make a run in July or something likr that.
I'm gonna see if I can find a ride to the Badlands but not sure yet!

Bummer to hear that your Rodeo won't make it FIEND! Hopefully you can get a ride. Are you anywhere near the Valpo area?

Is anyone from northwest Indiana or the Chicago area going? I would like to join up with anyone who would like to meet on the way down.

Hey everyone, is anyone still going to this thing!? I wanted to make it last time, but now I'm definately going tomorrow. And being that I'm a rookie I'd like to meet up with you guys before I do something hazardous to myself or my truck!

PM me if anyone from the Chicago area wants to meet up on the way down there.

Getting the Wheeling Fever
You'll have to wait for the pics... I'm going to crash, but I swear I'll post them first thing tomorrow. It was a great day for wheeling, but only 3 VXes showed up... odd. I wonder were everbody was? Not one Trooper, Rodeo (I know John... I'm not talkin' about you), or Amigo to be found.
Great weather, and good friends! Fiend did his usual great job as spotter, but (because Rich wasn't there to prevent acts of insanity) Kasia had an incident where she almost somersaulted her pretty Proton down a hill. I have never seen a VehiCROSS that close to doing an endo!
The only way I can describe it is... imagine the revese of Dragon Bob's Hell's Gate wheelie (only teetering for much longer). Cudos to the MWIOR Isuzu rescue team for (once again) averting disaster by keeping the back end of her VX from getting past the point of no return. That is... 'til she rolled far enough forward to get the front end out from under the back end! Yes, Nick got a pic while all this was going on. I do think John was NOT going to get off that tire even if it meant riding it down the hill.

Here is a nice shot of Kasia sitting on her front bumper...LOL.

The picture dosen't do this one justice....it IS MUCH worse than it looks....LMAO!
She drove out of this(with a little coaxing) perfectly and brought it to the bottom just fine.
