My condolences, he was about your age right? Forget about the wheeling trip, there is always others. Right now is the time to say your goodbyes and be there for his parents. His parents are in my prayers, I am sure this is a very rough time for them, I couldn't begin to imagine.

Damn Sorry to hear about your friend as well. Stuff happens usually at the most unexpected times. Take care maybe you can make the next one.
I am still coming I went wheeling yesterday in Starksburo, VT I smacked my TJM on a tree when my tire slid down off a rock it plowed right into it moved it down on one side about 1 1/2" so now I need to loosen it up and readjust it. I rolled back being in a tight area and hit a tree denting my rear tailgate then in the same area had a tree smack my upper pillar on the passengers side. I also bent a idler arm on a steep hill climb..... The idler arm should be fixed this week though. All in all it was a ok trail almost like some of the blue trails in Paragon AP. Update idler is now replaced the wheels are now somewhat straight...

Ok, im not going. My girlfriend who I was goign to bring with me, was best friends with him, as well as my brother, ex girlfriend and basically everyone around me. Anyways, I thought about it and I really dont feel like making that drive. Right now driving down the road to see my girlfriend I have to see the accident site and, I just dont think I should go this weekend. Maybe next time, although proably not soon as I might need to sell my monty for a more efficient car to get me to school. Anyways, have a fun trip, all of you be safe.

Well, NHMONTY was my ride. I did not personally know the kid who passed away, but I fully support NHMONTY's decision, as I'm sure all of you do.
So have a fun trip and hope to see you all next time!

NHmonty, there will be plenty more runs this summer. Don't you worry.
I will be showing up sometime on Friday. I was going to hit some boneyards on the way out but my financial situation right now tells me not to. We'll have to see which one of the little guys on my shoulder wins.
Wranglert, I've only run this trail once but am wondering how rough of a run it's going to be in a longbed pick-up on 31's? Don't get me wrong, when I did it last year I was in a similar boat open/LSD w/ 32's. I'm just not familiar with wheeling LWB vehicles.

i'm trying like hell to come up with a set of 33's not really caring to much what the tread is like, truck came with high-boy option so it sits up pretty good(but it's still a longbed). i'm going to give it all the truck has to give,i'm no quitter until the truck proves that it just won't go no more. in 2 months time i've already picked up four more of these trucks just for parts knowing it's going to break-next weekend is chrysler 400 big block (just in time for gas price hikes)

Can I get a head count, is it just the three of us? I have Jeremey's number, but can any one else that is planning on making the trip please private message me with a cellphone number and expected arrival time.
I "plan" on getting there early friday morning, but we will see.
