And it's a darn good thing too! - In your absence, who knows what sort of Isuzu riff-raff would have ended-up homesteading on your campsite!

Thats an eternity! It does give me a chance to do a lot of work on the troop though...and for someone to put a ring gear on a particular JEEP.... hows that coming by the way?

I met with a guy years ago that was making the cornbread spacers for the front?

Sounded like a nice cheap lift at the time and Dave, at least I think it was Dave, seemed like a real cool guy.

Speaking for Freebird (bill), his engine apparently took a turn for the worse and is on its deathbed. He said its blowing out oil from every direction. Its not gonna make this uwharrie. He'll probably come down with me again.

And as long as I'm talking about broken yj's...

Dan 'the drivetrain breakin man' just blew up the lincoln locker on his jeep. He was off roading and it went kablow! Somehow the welds on the right axleshaft broke. He found a deal on another set of jeep axles though. Doesn't know if he's coming to this uwharrie yet.

I think it is a "virtual" Jeep, has anyone ever seen it?

Joe

A little old lady once asked me why I have those big heavy bumpers on my truck, I responded "if I bump into something, I win!!" "BTW, I did bump into a Chev Minvan at about 30 MPH...it lost!"
