Although it's not showing up as 'unavailable' on the ReserveUSA website yet, I received word from TrooperChris that he reserved campsite #50 today. - That makes ELEVEN now!

Correction: Chris switched his reservation to Campsite #13 in order to get electricity.

Janet uwharriehost Janet, I'll definitely keep you in my prayers! With the little bit of wind and rain that we've had so far, water is already making its way into our house... And they're predicting extremely high winds and major flash flooding for us tomorrow. I've seen what a quick drop of 2.5-inches of rain can do up here in these mountains (or, more to the point, down in the valleys)... They're calling for at least 4-inches with this storm. (That's exactly what they told everyone in Richmond, and look how wrong they were on that one!) Batten-down the hatches folks! Smiley

Hey Smiley don't go driving around in the high water this time. We don't wanna change any more Alternators.

For the record: High water claimed my A/C Compressor... It was playing in the mud in Uwharrie that caused my last Alternator give-up it's ghost. Cheers! Smiley

I stand corrected.
I thought I'd throw this out there to all those that are not too far from the hills of WV. I am having a wrenching party at Bigpoppa's garage on September the 25th. As of now the attendees are:
Me Smiley Tad (the original or Nazrat on this board) TrooperChris And possibly Bansil (Doug)
You can ask about it here or just send me a pm if you are interested in comming down and watching or if you'd like to lend a hand or if you just wanna shoot the bull. I think that I'll be starting on Friday night and probably all day Saturday.
Pizza, WVU game on the radio, bunch of Isuzu heads working together, it doesn't get any better than this. Well I guess if we were at Uwharrie and wheeling, tht could be better. Heck I just about enjoy doing the work as much.
