*** Everyone might want to read the answer to DonÆs 2nd questionà

Quote
We're planning on coming in Friday, but as of yesterday, there are no campsites left :amazed:
Is there anyone leaving Saturday that we might be able to move into their site?
I guess we'll just sleep in the truck Fri night.

DonÆt worry about not having a campsiteà A number of people are offering tent/camper space in their site to whoever might need it û myself included. --- One way or another, yÆall wonÆt have to sleep in the Trooper (unless you just want to).

We defintely want to participate in the steak-fest how are the finances being handled?

Fortunately for us, Charles (ckimbrough18) and his wife were able to get us a very good deal on the meatà otherwise; we might have been having Rock Soup!

Anyway, IÆm very pleased to announce that the cost will remain at our usual $10 per-person (with children 12 and under free).

Optimally, I would really like to reimburse Charles before I go spending any money at the grocery storeà so, it would help a whole lot if all of you who plan to eat with the main group would go ahead and pay for your meal when you first see me (and thereby save me from having to come look for you later!)

Given what happened last October (when Mr. Smiley ended-up not getting a steak!), in order to keep better track of who has paid, I will be giving-out tickets. --- Please do not lose them, because apparently IÆm beginning to get Half-heimerÆs!

And since Saturday nightÆs dinner will be $10 per-person as well, if you would prefer, you can buy tickets for both nights at once.

SMILEY: I still have that wooden table setup you guys used a couple of years ago (Christ, has it been that long ago ) IF you think it would be of benefit, I'll bring it, if not, it'll stay home - lemme know.

Don, having that table again would be wonderful! - Yes, by all means, please do bring it!
(And this time, I promise IÆll try really hard not to spill stuff all over it! )

Cheers!

Daniel, I dont have the slightest clue where Greenville is, but so far, I will take what I can get, without complaint, I can afford a tanbk of gas, the outrageous shipping charges that all these guys want for shipping...

Anyway, Mark, go ahead..and that will at least get them out of the garage....

Thanx Daniel...

Thanks for the reply Smiley.

It'll be awn like donkey-kong! We'll be there around 6ish Friday.

No worries on the table mate, that's what it's there for. I'll try to 'acquire' some covering for it at work so it can even become a slop-fest

Not to steal Daniel's thunder, but G-ville is only about 3 hrs (or less?) south of Va Beach so it's a good deal. Hwy 13 out of Suffolk kinda/sorta goes straight to Greenville.

Cool! - Looks like Mia's Rodeo is about to become one step closer to being ready for the Spring 4x!

I would have offered to transport them myself, but I think you'd have been better of just driving to Uwharrie than my house to pick them up (and I've already made my annual trip to visit my father in VB).

All's well that ends well!
(Minus that part about the two of you not making it down this time! )

No worries, I'm back in the game, my truck is ready to pick up. Geez nothing like cutting things close. Well, at least I'll be able to pack tonight.

Mark why such a late arrival? That and how in the heck are you going to bring all that crap. (seems a lot bit heavy for the roofrack).

So barring any trouble driving there, me, Joey and the Smileyman will arrive as planned about noonish or a bit after on Thursday
