I am officially proposing a run for anyone who would like to accompiany me in my Trooper over Naches Pass on Saturday, August 28th. Might even leave Friday night and camp up there before the run. Let me know. Doesn't have to be just Isuzu's. The date is flexible but that is what I am throwing out there. Sooner would even be better. Ryan Davidson

Hey Ryan! Nice timing- I have discussed the same thing with Keith, Truman, and Michael. I am thinking in September, though - especially as the 28th wouldn't work for me. We hadn't discussed a date yet. Maybe the 11th, 12th or 18th?

I would be glad to go then too but I think that I will go either that day or sooner. If you have a day that would work for you sooner than the 28th let me know. I am itching to get out there. Ryan

I ran Naches East to West on Aug 10th with the wife and dog. Challenging trail as usual. Two motorcyclists told us that the VX couldn't make it up the steep, rocky, and loose climbs. They didn't seem to believe me when I told them that I had run that trail before. Met only one other 4x4 ATV past the West End. Fairly uneventful trip. I discovered the loss of one of my plastic hubcaps when re-airing at Greenwater. I could be talked into another run Aug. 20,21,or 29th and Sept.18th or 26th.

Well, How would the 21st be? Sounds like you don't need too much persuasion. Ryan <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/lol.gif" alt="" />

Last call for this Saturday. I need to give my boss a few days notice for taking Saturday off. If no one can come this Saturday, I suppose we can shoot for the Sept. dates. Ryan

I didn't think about it until now but you are coming a long way for this run. I suspect you would like to start on the east side of the trail, correct? I have never gone east to west but that might be interesting. When I was prodding you to go, I didn't realize you were coming so far. I wouldn't have encouraged you. I can wait until next month. Let me know which is better for you. Ryan

I have to drive about 2 hours to get to the east end, and that's what I was thinking about. Should we wait to see if more riggs would come in Sept?

Lets do that. I think a few of the regulars are doing a run on Sat in Tillamook Oregon. I thought they would make it to Naches instead. I like Tillamook but that is a heck of a drive(3 hours) one way. They are all game for a run at Naches in Sept. I am heading out to Twin falls Idaho in Sept. Are there any wheeling trails out your way? Ryan
