That's my plan, Tru. I'll head out whenever I need to to get there, I just want to know what time you/we want to meet at - 10a? 1030a? 930a?

Tammie, Since I am not far from you, we can caravan from Seattle somewhere. What do you think? Or we can just meet in Enumclaw and caravan from there. Sounds like we would we would need to meet pretty early just to get out to Enumclaw. Another thought, would it be quicker to drive over I-90 to Yakima and then up 410 to whistling jacks? Let me know. Enumclaw to Whistling Jack should be around 1 hour at the most. It's only about 60 miles. And yes, Whistling Jack is at the gas station.

I would like to join you guys, but I'm hunt'n over there. I thought I'd stop by to chat if you go this weekend, but well... Have fun!

10a at Whisltin' Jack's sounds great and it sounds like Tru, Ryan and me. Anyone else?

Ryan- I did some seaching on Yahoo Maps and it looks like via Enumclaw/410 E is the shorter route: 71+ mi in just under 2 hours - mostly two lane and twisty, that's why so slow. The I-90 route would be a lot longer route, especially for you if your still in the Tacoma area. What do ya say for meeting in Enumclaw at the Safeway at 7:45a? Any other west-siders wanna go?

Tammie, I am up in Shoreline now so we could meet in Seattle somewhere and head out to Enumclaw. If we are meeting over on the other side at 10am, I assume we ought to get started out of Seattle around 7:30 or so. Ryan
ps. with all this rain, it ought to be interesting up there!

Ryan, Shoreline, huh? When I did the mapping to Whistlin' Jack's from my home in Kirkland it was just under 3 hours so 7a would be better. As for where to meet, do you know where the South Kirkland Park & Ride is? Off of Hwy 520, near the exit Lk Wa Blvd NE (yes- this IS correct)? That would be a great place to meet up and we can hit I-405 S easily from there. It would be on the Metro webpage.

And ya, this rain is going to make it a challenge!

Tammie, that sounds like a good place and time to meet. I assume we are going the chinook pass route? Or is it quicker from where we are coming from. Either way, we will meet at 7am.
Ryan(T100). Glad to have you along. I am interested to see how you navigate a bigger truck like yours through Naches. If you have not already been up there, it is pretty narrow in some places. We will see you at the whistling jacks at 10am. I don't know about meeting at the Lodge. I think the restaraunt is the place. Lets make it CB channel 6.

Great, Ryan, See you there. And yes, the Chinook Pass route is the way we'll go.

4 rigs- that's great! Don't forget the rain gear and a good lunch!
