Who's up for a trail run over Naches Pass either Saturday Sept 11th or Saturday Sept 18th? My preference would be the 18th.

We'd meet up in Enumlclaw (Western side of Cascades) at the Safeway around 9/930a and head for the trail by around 945a.

The trail ends on the Eastern side of the Cascades near Naches. Depending on how good of time we make maybe we can grab some dinner in Yakima before everyone heads out.

I am good for the 18th. What do you think of doing the stretch backwards? Starting on the east side. It would be kind of like doing a trail we have never done before. There is a VXer who will be coming with us and he is driving from Kennwick Washington. Maybe he will chime in. Anyhow, I am raring to go and looking foward to the 18th. Ryan

hmmmmm......sounds like a blast...but the gas would KILL me....id probably need about 3 jerry cans just to make it thru the trail and out the other side not to mention at least three fillups to get there and back.

The 18th would work for me, the wife, and the dog.

Ok, so the 18th it is! I've not run the trail East to West yet, might be interesting, but where would we meet up? And at what time?

Tru- Have you connected with Vic? He's in Kennewick until Sunday.

Joey- That's what happens when you sell a perfectly great rig! But I'm quite sure Dana's glad you did! I couldn't load up whatever your link was to, but I'm sure you're having fun. How about that rain at Tillamook a couple of weeknds ago - WOW!

Whistlin' Jack's lodge on route 410 on the east side is a good meeting place if you want to go east to west. The time would be later so folks could drive from the wet side. I know the east-west route now.
I spoke with Vic and he is workin hard hangin steel.

Whistlin' Jack's - I think I remember that place. Isn't that where we aired up at the gas station there?

What time should we meet up? I'm remembering a 2-2.5 hr drive from our green valleys to your dry lands...

My map program indicates that it takes about 2 hours driving time from Enumclaw to Whistlin Jacks. Calculate the driving time from your area.
