Just talked to the lady at the Badlands...... looks like riding areas are going to be pretty limited. She said the creek is at its 3rd highest recorded depth right now and orange trail has developed several 'mini lakes' that are 3'+ deep (see pic of me above). Everything is soaked and its supposed to drop below freezing tonight and stay there, so everything will be icey. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" />

On a positive not, though, this Saturday is customer appreciation day <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/lol.gif" alt="" />

Roll Me Over
I've actually rethought my cash situation since talking to Doug... but then I thought about the weather.

I've wheeled in some nasty weather before, but several inches of snow melted by rain followed by temps in the teens... <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/barf.gif" alt="" /> My truck doesn't function well as a frozen block of mud <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/baby.gif" alt="" />. Who knows, I just cracked open a Sam Adams, maybe I'll change my mind <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />.

So, ummmm, hypothetically speaking... maybe some of you fine folks should PM me your cell numbers in the event I show up unexpectedly <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />.

Does customer appreciation day = discount? <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/lol.gif" alt="" />

So who is still going for sure? I've only been a couple times, and my rig is bone stock, so I'm a little hesitant to go out on any trails without backup. Especially if it's going to be an icy mudhole <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/scared.gif" alt="" />

kegard, your rig can take it. There is going to be plenty of back up out there. No one, me, Sean, John, Mike, I mean no one will leave you stuck behind. You can always ride shot gun with someone if you decide on site you don't want to weel that day.

Nathan, I PMd you my cell just in case you decide to come out. Last year was my first time on ice and I survived. Well, the guys sure as hell enjoyed me freaking out after every icy obsticle, but I had a blast. No major carnage either if we won't count Dave's dead fuel pump...

Just as a reminder, we'll be using channel 13 on CB radio.
I would like to have some company on a way to Attica. Anyone from Illinois coming down I294 to Route 41 PM me so we can tag along togheter.

Wonder how high the "creek" was when we went crashing through it with 3-4" of ice on top? It was pretty deep then.

I'm glad they are shutting down areas that would ruin someone's day.

I'm still trying to make it. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

Well...... the Badlands claims another 2.5 rocker panels (Sorry Dave, yours are no longer worth a whole point), but overall I'd say it was a good run. The park wasn't nearly as wet as I thought it'd be. Great to see old faces and meet a few new ones..... and I look forward to another trip <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/kewl.gif" alt="" />

And I look forward to seeing some of that video, Mike <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/cheers.gif" alt="" /> I hope everyone had/is having a safe trip home.

By far one of the more costly trips out as far as damage but all I can say is WOW!!!

Even not driving and running up and down those hills I had a blast.Nothing better...especially being right next to the guy who stops thinking and gets stuck on level ground...LOL.

Kasia...I feel for ya bud...but it can all be fixed.Kegard...I hope this hasn't made you rethink coming out with us.Rockers go away but look at it this way...you now form fit the hill tops...LOL.

This run put a big bug in me to get off my lazy duff and get on the Rodeo...I have a little girl that watched our video and really wants to go.She wants to see the "pretty yellow car"....LOL

So when is the next one.

BTW...Sean you took one of the stickers and it is in your Amigo somewhere

I got your Jeep thing and now it burns when I pee!
