Mike, you just made my week. That's freakin awesome!!!

BTW, if you are still willing to send copies of the entire video, I'd love to have one. Just PM me how you want to handle it.

[edit]BTWx2...... I am definitely buying a set of MT/R's this summer. Its ridiculous how much better those things grip rocks

Sean....might a well get 33's too! I think you could put them to good use

I'm glad the movies worked, I'm never really sure what will work.

When I get everything back up and running right I'll let you know about a full copy.

Miss Kathy and I just watched those videosà

[* And the envelope pleaseà *]

The Villa de Smiley Award for the Best Bumper-Smacking Short Film or Documentary goes toà

Sean Strawmyers and his red first generation Amigo, for whacking the snot out of those rocks!
(Several times !!! )

Nice!

IÆm pretty sure that Kathy is glad that I didnÆt get to goà It sure didnÆt take much to figure out that the look on her face during some of those clips was based entirely on the thought: ôI wonder what condition the Rodeo would be in right now if he had gone?ö

IÆll really TRY to make it next timeà HONEST!

Cheers!

No worries about the bumper....... that nice "SMACK, griiiiiiiiiiiiiind" sound you heard is the OEM front tow hook. With only 1.5" of lift in the front and stock-sized tires, I don't enjoy the same level of clearance that Dave, Mike, and Kasia do. You should see some of the gouges I left in those rocks when I climbed that obstacle with no lift

I'd like to accept this award in honor of Isuzu owners everywhere that aren't afraid to polish some steel to get down the trail. Hopefully by this time next year I will have more lift and bigger tires and won't be in the running for a second award.

Oh, and Smiley..... Miss Kathy can rest assured that the "Stairsteps" in those clips is a completely optional obstacle. But I have a feeling you'd want to give it a shot after driving all this way

Actually I think Smiley would have done just fine on the stair steps. Dave crawled right up, I didn't have much difficulty. But bot Sean and Kasha did have problems. And after further review of the footage...I blame it on wheelbase. Looking at Seans attempt, both front and rear tires are climbing at the same time. My tires were not trying to climb both ledges at the same time. Amazing what 5 inches of wheel base can do!

Yup. Mike, you are right. The clearance was a secondary factor on those steps. Just the fact that I flew over the top stair instead of climbing it, got me by surprize. I was expecting to have a bit of ease in clibing them knowing I am taller than Sean. But I sure didn't expect to catapult myself over them....
John, where is the video of that???

Btw, that last shot on a parking lot... exposing my scars... ouch...
