As a matter of fact, if you want to set-up and do Friday night's meal, you'll hear no complaints from me
I'll have my Turkey Fryer there too, as usual (although I've never used mine to do a turkey) - and we could probably get Mark to bring his Fryer as well. --- If you were to do a meal for everyone on Friday, with anywhere between 25 and 40 people to feed, I dare say you might need all three of them!

If I had more time on my side, I wouldn't mind doing this, but as it is now, we will be driving down from Delaware on Friday and I don't expect to get to the camp until about 6 pm. So, I don't want to commit myself for fear of not getting there in time to get everything done.

From my experience 43, 44 and 45 are pretty loud. They are right across from the bathrooms and the walk way from the other side of the campground to the bathrooms goes right through the middle of them. They are also really close together and 'out in the open.' If you don't care about privacy or people walking right next to your stuff they'd be perfect for the late night "Daddy I have to go to the bathroom" trips.

Smiley was half right, Joey did celebrate his B-day last Oct. But he's 5. He's been twice now, and absolutely loves it. You do have to remind people about language quite often.

If able, I was thinking campsites 43 &/or 44 would be good for kids being able to sleep through the night - good or bad idea? From my experience 43, 44 and 45 are pretty loud. They are right across from the bathrooms and the walk way from the other side of the campground to the bathrooms goes right through the middle of them. They are also really close together and 'out in the open.' If you don't care about privacy or people walking right next to your stuff they'd be perfect for the late night "Daddy I have to go to the bathroom" trips. Jessica is rightà Unless being very close to the restrooms is your #1 priority, due to the noise and traffic, youÆll probably want one of the other campsites. If youÆre willing to do without electricity, you might want to consider getting one of the tent sites (#46 - 49). --- Those are a few dollars cheaper per night - and quite a bit more secluded - while still being a reasonably short distance from the bathhouse. --- However, they are mighty close together, and there is no guarantee that a noisy group wonÆt rent one or more of the remaining sites. --- Ideally, if your group were large enough, and you could justify renting all four of them, you would be almost 100% assured of a nice, quiet, undisturbed nightÆs sleep. If you want to have electrical hook-up, AND have a quiet place to sleep, my suggestion would be to get either #19 or # 21. --- The down-side is that you would be some distance away from our group, but it would put you directly across from the Site Hostà and believe me; Janet does not tolerate having noisy neighbors. HTH! Let me know what you decide, and IÆll update the map & attendance list.

Ooops! - My bad! You do have to remind people about language quite often. Joe, just for the record, that wasn't just ME! --- For some reason, camping, 4-wheeling, and getting away from it all seems to bring out the worst in almost everyone's vocabulary... Although apparently, for YOU, it only happens when you're removing a particularly stubborn nut, bolt, or A-arm bushing! Cheers! Smiley

the late night "Daddy I have to go to the bathroom" trips Exactly what I was thinking! Anyone have any suggestions on good sites for kids? Joe, just for the record, that wasn't just ME! I did say people. I realize there are those that don't have kids OR don't care what kind of language their kids hear. That's fine, but I choose to care. I know there are times people slip and that's fine. Just asking people to be somewhat sensitive. Honestly it's the CB mostly. When wheeling, people forget that I have my CB turned on as well. Joey's at the age where if he hears a word he doesn't know he'll be asking, "What's that word mean?" I don't want to miss out on all of the friendly banter that goes on. Thanks, Joe

Geez people lighten up a bit. I didn't mean to put a stop to the posting going on here.
Just to get the friendly banter going already, let's make sure people have some spare stuff this time.
Like Smiley's list would look like this:
Two extra alternators One exhaust whistle A belt tightening gauge
Paulevans76:
Cv joint a leaky propane tank
Pete (Is he comming this trip?) second gen CV joint.
Anyway that should get it started.
Joe
