How's it lookin' for ya, Bro?
Can I bump you up from the æMaybe ListÆ now, or what?

(doing my best DeForest Kelley)
Damn It Smiley I'm a gearhead not a travel agent.

Keep me on the maybe.

Just wait till he stops using words. Then you'll have to guess at the facial expressions.

Smiley, mark me down for one more attendee. I have a friend that has a Z71 Tahoe on 285 MT's and a 4-wheeler that wants to come. His schedule is free at the moment, but you know how that goes. I will let you know more when I know more.

Now back to your regularly scheduled program.

Are we there yet???

Sorry for the delay on this oneà

Chorizo & Basmati Rice?

Unfortunately, thereÆs no easy answerà

Finding the required Premio brand Chorizo has proven rather difficult lately. --- No one around here caries it anymore (I truly believe I was the only person buying it ) û and I canÆt find it anywhere near Uwharrie either. --- ThereÆs a grocery store in Boone, NC that stocks it û sort of near Doug & Lisa û but when I was there, they only had one package (which I bought and have already used).

We would need at least 8 to 10 five-packs (4 to 5 ten-packs) of PREMIO brand Chorizo in order to make enough of that dish for everyone. --- And YES, having that particular brand of sausage really does matter!

If someone can find that sausage û and then absolutely 100% guarantee that they will bring enough of it with them, and have it there early enough that I donÆt start freaking out (LetÆs say: by noon on Saturday at the absolute latest!) û then IÆm definitely willing to make some more of my Chorizo & Basmati Riceà assuming that there will be enough people eating to cover the cost of all the ingredients (which is something else that always worries me).

But thereÆs something else to considerà

I was recently reminded that we had all pretty much decided to start a ætraditionÆ of going into town and having a group meal at ZenoÆs Italian Restaurant.

(For those of you who have never been there, itÆs JanetÆs favorite place to eat û They have great food at very reasonable prices û the portions are HUGE û and the service is absolutely incredible. --- I wish there were a place just like it, here, where I live!)

I believe we need to decide which way we want to go, and then take it from thereà

Everyone can cast their vote HERE[/b]

I waited a while before writing that last postà I just wish IÆd waited a little bit longer.

[color:"yellow"]PLAN æBÆ

ôHey Grandpaà WhatÆs for supper?ö
[/color]

For the record:
Order has been restored, and everything is right with the universe againà
There WILL be a Group Meal on Saturday Night!

What I need to know from everyone right now is this:

Does anyone have any food allergies?
More specifically û Is anyone allergic to Seafood?
Particularly û SHRIMP?

DonÆt be shyà Please let me know, because I can very easily accommodate those who can't eat Shrimp by making them an alternate meal û perhaps a few Rock Cornish Game Hens, or such. --- It wouldnÆt be any trouble at all.

But for all of you who CAN eat Shrimp û youÆre gonna be in for a real treat - I æguar-awn-teeÆ !!!

The Uwharrie Iron Chefs will once more endeavor to thrill and delight your tasted buds û this time with a marvelous merger of those two culinary cousins - Low Country and Creole cuisine!

All I can tell you is: DonÆt forget to bring an appetite!

* BTW: Does anyone happen to have a Large Chafing Dish?
