Coming into Winston-Salem from 421.....does anyone know the exit that put's me onto I40 and then onto 109????

I don't have the best track record for taking the same route down to Uwharrie

Momma has no problems, but she doesn't know the exit #'s

Thanks....

Doug,

(With all hamster comments asideà )
I was planning to call Janet û When I do, IÆll be sure to let her know when youÆre coming.

As for the Lost Patrolà
Have you looked on MapQuest?

Ya know what? û In order to prevent any further near-death experiences for the Tennessee rodent population IÆll even make it easy fer ya, Broà

(Even with a trailer and city traffic taken into account, it looks to me like you might be better off staying on 421 until it intersects directly with 109 û and staying off of I-40 entirely.)

Doug-
It's not really an exit.. 421 intersects with I-40 in Winston-Salem at around the Jonestown Road exit (sorry, don't know the number). Right after that (like .5 miles) I-40 and Business 40 split, you want I-40. Then like 4 exits later, you'll get off at 109 (Thomasville). Go straight through the light and it leads you onto 109 and into Thomasville.

That is the way we go most often and is usually the fastest... Let me know if you need more detail..

HTH

Jessica

edit: Smiley is kinda right, what looks like 421 on that map crossing over Business 40 (the top of the oval) is more commonly referred to here at I-40..

But in all seriousness, my dad will be the "restrictor plate" for thrashin the troop. (and im glad, too. i dont know if i have the self control to keep myself out of bad situations, without him!)

So, is that us? as in everyone, PLUS big red ? Dads worried that if you dont bring big red down no-one else is gonna want to run the bunny trails with us little guys. (but we need not worry about that, right everybody? )

ôBunny Trailsö ???

The very first time that I went to Uwharrie, DougH had me and my bone-stock Rodeo start out at the WolfÆs Den entrance û then we switched over to Dutch John û and returned back to WolfÆs Den by way of Slab Pileà

[Linked Image]

àI seem to recall he said that was ôThe BeginnerÆs Runö!

Granted, it hadnÆt rained in at least a couple of weeksà And YES, that would be the run that I was belly-dragging over everything in sight --- But stillà

I think you will soon be very pleased to learn that that Trooper of yours will do some mighty amazing things --- But by all means, take your time working up to the harder stuff. --- And hey, if RobbyÆs rig doesnÆt make it down this time, IÆll gladly run Falls Dam with you and Lamar (Besides, my new Rock Bars have a date with a certain cluster of rocks on that trail, anyhow! )

i think that i should be able to make all of the "B" trails just fine. As long as i keep my rockers and other body panels off the rocks, itll be aight. i know if i get body damage after all the work weve just done on the trooper, my next wheelin trip will be a long time comin!!

Smiley,

Its said news but I have to back out. And if I could have remembered your phone number this weekend I would have been asking for a place to crash.
Short story...I was travelling 70 mph southbound on I-81 just before Wytheville, exit 80 to be exact, and my left front tire flies off. No warning at all. Needless to say I have a little work to do to the truck.
Have fun ladies & gents.

Anyone know where I can get a green fender for a 95 trooper with the gray fender flares???

yeah there is definitely mechanically damage. If it was just the fender I would still make the trip.

Ya, as of now me AND big red are planning on showing up. I will be droping in late firday night and heading out with first light on sunday but I am gonna wheel my hart out on sat!!! Bunny trails, monster trails, what ever just get me on a ******* trail like NOW!!!! Sorry, lack-of-4-weelin-whitdralw rant over. Ya J I will most deff lead u guys down what ever trail u feel like tackling. I can find enough to entertain myself on Like Smiley said, there are a few places on each trail I want a rematch with ...espically that tree that got my rear quarter panel. With the proper spotiong and if need be a lil tug from a isuzu borthern and u can make it on any trail there... unless it rains, but that is a different beast all together. AS always, it will be a honor to wheel with u guys and gals!!!
