It looks like there is a possibility that Joe might be able to take a break and come join us for a day. --- Nothing definite though.






I believe in the past (back before my time) there have been a few Uwharrie Isuzu Gatherings that were larger, but we have more campsites this time than *I* can ever remember seeing. --- And since our sites are so neatly grouped together, for the very first time since IÆve been coming to Uwharrie, I might actually be able to relax and not worry quite so much about how the noise might be disturbing our neighbors! (Finding out that 40, 44, and 45 are also held by fellow ISUZUwharrie attendees would be the icing on the cake.)

And more good news:
If we need the space, we now have plenty of tent sites available in the grassy sections of the woods, all along our side of the foot path. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/kewl.gif" alt="" />

Joe's gonna ride with me again (not bringin his 84 yota unless by some miracle we can get all the power steering setup on the engine, get the box mounted and rest of the marlin hysteer setup and aligned, swap his built front axle in, swap his rear 3rd in, mount the 36's and get it running good enough for a 4 hr drive). no leaky propane tanks this time, but we will be cooking up a lot of stuff at our site (32). My brother Jim (i don't think he registered for the site here yet) will be driving his olive drab 90 Trooper on 33's.

I just want to clarify something. --- Has your brother already reserved #32? --- I ask, because a few days ago it showed-up as being reservedàI just assumed it was you guys, and went ahead and put an Isuzu emblem on it.

(Due to a conversation that took place in this thread a while back, I did the same thing with #21, and simply assumed that it was one of ours - then I found out later that the site belongs to someone from C.O.R.E.)

Smiley, I am gonna have to graciously bow outta of this one. I was doing the math for the travel time and all it is just not gonna be something I feel I can do so soon into school. Espically during my Managment calss cuz I have the feeling I am gonna be swamped enough whithout trying to fit a road trip in. U know if the istructor, IN ORIENTATION, says that there will ge 3-4 hours of home work a night, that u are in for a rough couple of weeks. Hopefully I will catch u all in the summer and most deff. the fall.
