Rubo wanted me to ask if anyone is bringing an Air Compressor (and when you think youÆll arrive).
I told him that I believe Tad & Joe should both have CO2 --- Does anyone else plan to have a source of air?


As for what I'm bringingà
In addition to the usual camping gear and some spare Tie Rods, a Steering Cross Bar, and Drive Flangesà IÆll have my meager assortment of tools û including my (as-yet-unused!) Tie Rod Puller. --- IÆll also have a set of (small) Jack-Stands and a (3-ton?) Floor Jack.

^^^ Other than the camping gear, everything is still in the back of my Rodeo from last October! --- Yeah, and I wonder why I have fatigued leaf springs <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/rolleyes.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/lol.gif" alt="" />

hmm
we are going to be pulling my truck on a trailer. trailer+trooper+truck=50 feet thereabouts. would it be ok if we used the now extra site for some parking(of the trailer)? just throwing that out there. i know janet would appreciate it too...

starting my list of spares, im going to the junkyard today or tomorrow to get a tie rod for a spare. i think i talked to the wrong junk yard, cause they wanted 20 bucks for one 'rod. ill get one and keep it till i break one....
im gettin a lube job/oil change tomorrow, and then taking it to the local 4wheel shop and have them do some welding on the troop before times up...still dont have a CB...and so on and so forth...the pressure's on.

My first time there, we were running rocky mount loop and it started pouring rain right as we got to the base of kodiak rock. Let me tell you, I was a little intimidated. OK, OK, a whole lot of intimidated. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/scared.gif" alt="" /> It was getting slick and I had at's, my first hard trail and I had at's, oh yeah - did I mention it was pouring rain? But some good spotting from some great guys got me through the whole thing. Trust me dude, everyone here takes care of each other! <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/kewl.gif" alt="" />

With the big bad at's and rain(maybe?)......We will be having fun! <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/shiner.gif" alt="" />


Oh yeah-
Talk about last minute things, I just ordered a 2.5in lift kit for my truck. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/kewl.gif" alt="" /> I hope it comes in time so I can install it here. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/scared.gif" alt="" /> If not, I will be doing some wrenching at URE at the Arrowhead Gas, Grill & Garage. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/lol.gif" alt="" />

I'll have my CO2 as well Smiley. But be aware, it's pretty much only good for airing up tires since I have a crappy beverage regulator. I'll also have a full set of hoses, belts and plug wires, tie-rods, center link, ignition coils. Basically a bunch of junk.

Only a few things left to do.

As I recall, there's probably enough room at #33 to put the trailer off to the side, with space left over for perhaps 3 (maybe 4) vehicles. --- But don't worry; if I'm wrong, and it turns out that you need another spot for the trailer, we'll work something out.

I'll be bringing lots of tools, 1st gen trooper spares, the hi-lift, an angle grinder, a bunch of wood, a smallish propane grill, bunch of food, probably a small propane torch, ETC. don't hestitate to ask if you need to borrow <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/cheers.gif" alt="" />
