As far as the lift..its not really that bad.... I have done it on a few now...

So...lemme know, I live about an hour away from Matt, adn I go home frequently to see my wife and daughter..(Mass)..

Nick, as far as a date, I dont think its official..BUT, the weekend of Sat the 7th sounds like a winner..I think thats the one everyone is agreeing on.... but i could be wrong... I shoudl be home on leave by then....SHOULD being the operative word..

So...

I'm for making May 7th official.

nhmonty and I tried to get that super swamper in the mudpit he wants, but I dont like ice and neither do toyotas. Lets just say we waited quite a while for another truck and nhmonty almost lost some toes.... He may be on a/t's this May, we'll see.

Is it too early to set up specifics such as where to meet, etc?

I'm all for the 7th. I just hope all my basic mods will be done in time, if need be I'll be running without lift, but with more praying. Tire shopping is going well, just recieved my tax refund, so the actual buying of a set will come soon, still looking for a slightly used pair, but new is far from out of the picture.

If I may ask.....could someone give me a semi detailed explaination of this superswamper? Thanks

Nick I just ordered new Swampers for the Troop...I will be removing my MT/Rs... the rear 2 are still pretty good..if you can find a set fro the front(or rear)...I will bring them to you... 33x12.50.15s.... as far as I price..nothign major..we'll work soemthign out.. Adn yes, you shoudl be able to fit 33s...

There are pictures of the rear in my sig...the ones on the troop...

As far as the 7th...I am game.... though I am thinking at this piont, it is looking more like just my rig...(though I will try to get my wife some seat time)..

As far s the trip...looks like a nice sceninc drive up past the Qaubin for me...

Conval HS is kinda outa the way... How bout greenfield where the trail is. We could meet at Delay's which is right on main street and no one would be able to miss my truck in the parking lot driving through town Much closer to the trail and its a general store so you can get last minute feed.

not really, maybe a coupla minutes, but i think it would be good because it got a good sized parking lot, its easy to find, and it is right on a main highway. the trail is maybe 10-15 minutes away.

May 7th sounds good for me as of now. ConVal is a good spot to meet up. Its a big land mark in the area(how pathetic) and its got a large enough parking lot to make sure we can all fit even with a lot of other cars parked there. Id put it maybe 15-20 minutes to the trail depending on speed. And if needed we can stop at delays on the way, or take the class 6 in greenfield to wake people up and get them in the offroad mind set. And Chase, if your coming up by the quabon I assume you are taking 202? if thats the case then I hope you dont have a rock hard suspension because that road is worse than any trail ive been on
