ID have to check but I might be able to get you free camping if you dont mind staying in my back yard. Im not sure if camp grounds are open by the 7th. Or else you could pitch a tent on the side of a trail or something.

I am hoping they will be open..I dont wanna impose on anyone..

AND, will there be any issues with camping on the side of a trial? Just curious....

Depends on what trail. Some have good spots on the side others do not. The trail we are doing has some places where you might be ok, but some of it is also private property and the guy who owns it is not nice.

I don't mind imposing

But we might just pitch a tent somewhere too. Chase, if you end up on the trail somewhere we prolly will too. Matter of fact, we'll probly just camp wherever you do.

Well I am gearing up for the trip, ordered some tow hooks, setting up to get my new tires (99% sure I'm getting ProComp AT's.....buy 3 get one free) And am seeing about having a set of rocker bars made up by a company in central new york...these will hopefully help me without having a lift yet.

Reservations for campsites may be made by calling the Reservation Office, Monday through Friday, from January through the end of the season. Campers interested in possible first-come/first-served camping from May 13 to May 26 should call the park directly in early May for further information.

So, looks like we miss it by 6 days, though on Monday I'm going to call and see if we can stay there, I have a feeling they will let anyone who wants to, to stay. Parks services usually just need the moolah, so they can keep the parks looking spiffy. Will let you all know what they say.

Well I couldn't get a hold of anyone today, and didn't have time to try again, so I'll try tomorrow.
