Well, things are looking up for my P/U. I got the donor CV's out of the 4runner which means I'm about ready to get that POS out of the garage so I can put my truck in there.

I'm going to call marlin tonite to order 2 bearing kits, too. After all that, some fluid swaps and dshaft U-Joints I think she'll be all set for may. (YAY)

Headgasket needs to be done, but wth, it only blows a little white smoke here and there

Lucky you , I had quite a lot of white smoke coming out of my exhaust 5 minutes after I started it, looked like a small fire extinguisher Tomorrow Starts the spring tune up, see wher eit goes from there.

Ick. Mine only blows a cloud right at startup, then the HG warms up and expands so *presumeably* it swells up and fills the gap. Soon enough tho, she's gonna bust a good hole and overheating and warpage will ensue.

That's the next big plan, TC, HG, maybe a cam while I'm in there. We'll see what the piggy bank allows.

So yeah, I'm getting excited now. I'm not gonna lie, I was pretty sceptical that I'd be able to come down, but now I'm pretty sure I'm in. Alls i need now is a tent

Woo 4 days and no chitchat....weird ahaha

Hows everyones first couple of days of spring been?

Engine overheating/reving issue still unresolved

Exhaust is getting worse by the day....which is adding to the crappy engine performance issue

No new job in site as of yet so no new major mods happening anytime soon.

DID get my oil changed, new batt terminals put on, and fixed my side mirrors...OH YAY I have to go now before I cant hold back the excitment

Haha then you must be loving this rain we're getting....if your getting it too.

Yeah I'll find a way down, I'm sure the whole engine problem is just something simple that I'm missing, replacing the thermostat this weekend, and the 02 censor just to get the light to go out on my dash

As for exhaust, that'll be late spring early summer.

Enjoy the mud
