Wheeler
i'm still thinking i'll be able to make it, i just haven't decided which vehicle to bring. Just did a round trip to virginia beach in my jeep yj now it has a funny howling noise when the left rear tire is flexed upward when wheeling and it only does it in 4 wheel drive .will a honda passport (isuzu rodeo) with 2 sizes over stock tires make it,it has limited slip w/4.11 gears, or would a full sized dodge with 33's be better. in the last 3 months the wife has been run into twice with the honda so scratches and dents are no longer a concern

I dunno about a full sized dodge. What size tire does the passport have? 31's are what I recomend as minimum. The gearing and limited slip should be good for you though.

Nick, sorry to hear you are going to someones last day as a single man...I will weep for him...j/king...

Anyway, I am officially on leave now... My bike is being delivered some time in the next 24 hours, then I will make the drive up north, though I think it will only be a day thing, as I have to hit the road early on the 8th, I have to be back at base that monday(9th)...

I will be taking to white rodeo.. I just got home, and dont have any time to prep the troop, its still in storage.

Wrangler, you shoudl be fine with the p-port, you will axtually be amazed at that little ifs rig...I know I was..

So, for me no lockers or winch...

my cell is 757-406-5556, some get in touch with me( a local).. in the next few days, so I can figure out exactly where I am going up there.....

Maybe you shouldn't stall next time

maybe you shouldnt slash your tire on that culvert at the bottom, causing us to be there untill 1:30 in the morning waiting for another 33 next time

Mebe you should carry a spare on a TOYOTA rim instead of a nissan rim that way we wont be there till 1:30am waiting for a 33" spare

Ya, anyway.. so the current list is:

me
nhnissan
eighteight
nhmonty
maybe another local guye or two
chase
wrangler - (I think the dodge may be a little too wide.. never seen a honda/rodeo wheeled, so I dunno)

now, why would i carry a toyota rim, when i drive a nissan? maybe you should just start bringing your own spare tire
