It seems that most of the East Coast Toyota guys disappeared from this board. About 99% of the trail rides here are Isuzu groups nowadays. Oh well.

We'll still have a good turn out with people from TTORA-VA and MD, maybe some Maryland Creepers, and some of the guys from Keystone Krawlers.

Jason,
It would be nice to get an update as to how many folks are actually going and if people are showing up on Thursday or Friday. I had planned on heading up there on Thursday to get setup and then wheel Friday and Saturday. But I am not sure who else is going to be up there on Thursday. Since I have not been there before it would be nice to know if folks are meeting up at a certain time / location and then heading out to the campsite at RC.

Maybe people are not looking at the Trail Riding section since they may be used to seeing a post on the main 4Runner and SUV, and Tacoma sections. In any case I hope we have a good turnout. I will definitely be there ready to tear up something again I am sure of it on my 4Runner. That is only if I cannot tame my lead foot from smashing the gas pedal all the way to the floor when it isn't necessary!

In any case, hopefully we will get a few more posts and an updated count before the next two weeks of who will be attending.

This is Lynn from RC. I just got caught up on the thread about the upcoming ride. Most of the questions about camping appear to have been answered. There is another group scheduled for Thursday, so the gate will be open. Just a few things to know.

For those arriving Thursday, stop by the office and sign the group waiver form. That will be in the toolbox on the left side of the building. Any new or renewing memberships can be taken care of Friday morning. I'm not sure when I'm getting up there myself, either Thursday night or bright and early Friday morning and I'll have the office open from 8 to 10 that morning for your group to check-in. Same thing for Friday afternoon/evening arrivals, if no one's around the office, sign the group waiver form (Friday it will be on the front porch) and then take care of your membership when you check-in in the morning to go out on your rides.

Anyone arriving in the afternoon to set up camp, please don't go wheeling unless you've made arrangements with the office to do so.

Down at the camping area, there is an area for tow rigs and trailers, RV's, truck campers, etc. Please don't drive those past the first pole (the one with all the camping rules on, which I ask that you all please read!).

We're working on cutting in some more tent sites down below the main tent area. Not sure how far along that project will be in two weeks. But there's a few of you who've camped before on the property, and I'm sure you all can figure it out when you get there where to set up camp. If you want to tent camp but have a tow rig and trailer, if you get there early enough you can park close to the tent area, otherwise you have to pack your gear up and drive your trail rig into the tent area.

Sorry for rambling on. Glad to have you all visit the park. Any questions let me know. I'll check back between now and then.

Basically just show up, it's casual this year.
If you've never been to RC before you'll have to get a membership, but that's no big deal.
