Callalantee is located 2 miles outside of downtown Mountain City, TN --- Cracker's Neck is about 8 miles from Callalantee, on the opposite side of town. --- Either place by itself is HUGE - but the two pieces of property put together make up the majority of the entire county - and ONE Daily Trail Pass covers your access to BOTH!

There is also ONE Cabin available For Rent: (Call ahead to confirm/reserve!)

[color:"blue"]OTHER IMPORTIANT INFO:

* The first thing you will see when you go to the office:

* There are about 125 miles of trails at Callalantee - most of which were 'paved' three months ago, but there has been a lot of rain since then, so they are showing some age. --- 'Welder' & 'Little Tellico' have not and WILL NOT be paved.

* The closest grocery and auto parts stores are only 2 miles away.

* The nearest "cheerwine" store is about 3.5 miles away (8AM-12PM)

* Hardee's / McDonald's / Burger King - 2.5 miles.

NOTE: It has been recommended that anyone with GPS capability should bring their gear. --- WeÆre going to be driving around on a couple of HUGE pieces of property (the two put together make-up the majority of the county!) û and some folks have gotten lost out there before. --- Any technological advantage would be quite welcome.

Rubo,

Until we have a date set, the whole thing is a 'maybe list' - and Bubba, you're on it.

In that case, maybe I can attend, but I sure want to . The date will be the deciding factor.

I'd be down for this if we wanted to go here instead of uwharrie. They both seem about the same distance from me.
