àwe should say that's our winner and go ahead and state it as setà Agreed --- I just edited the first post in this thread accordingly... Hopefully, with a firm date now set, others will start jumping onboard! Cheers! Smiley

I really wanted to go on this trip. The funny part is, I am going to be in Tennessee from the 22-26. It is just 300 miles(one-way) from you guys. That is a little too long for a day trip. It is kinda hard to do two things at one time. I will make it up there sometime. Hey! Someone figure out when and where the next trip is going to be so I can plan sooner.

We will try to get out there this weekend and next weekend and do some scouting. We will be taking our GPS,because I heard from some folks that got lost out there and it took several hours to find there way back.
If anyone is interested in getting together for the day and running around Callantee and Crackersneck the memorial day weekend we are planning to go a couple times that weekend.Hint Hint some of the closer guys[/b]
I will try to hook up with the owner and discuss....in writting,hopefully.....a cheaper trailride price.......wish me luck-----for that weekend.
We will either pull the camper and camp or we'll just meet everyone there and wheel....not sure yet.
Smiley, can you edit your first post and put a word out to bring GPS unit's if folk's have them....Thanks Bro

Doug, Maybe you havenÆt been keeping up with the latest of my mechanical trials & tribulationsà Right now my RodeoÆs steering column is almost completely disassembled û the steering shaft and the lift extension are disconnected from the steering box û and at the moment I am awaiting news about some replacement parts. --- The thing hasnÆt moved an inch in almost two weeks! ( And yes, IÆm going through horrible withdrawal especially since IÆve been left with no choice but to drive Miss KathyÆs itty-bitty little Clown Car! ) [* Looking over my shoulder here tooà She HATES IT when I call her Capri æThe Clown CarÆ! *] Anywayà What IÆm saying thisà Things arenÆt looking very promising for me to make it down there for any of those Pre-Runs Smiley, can you edit your first post and put a word out to bring GPS unit's if folk's have them. Done!

I just got the OK from work to take off Friday the 24th and Monday the 27th. So baring any unforseen circumstances, I will be testing out my new improved rock bars in Callalantee /Cracker's Neck. Now I just have to get the hang of my new welder, get off my and build them
It will be nice to check out some new terrain.

Oh Sure, and not even ONE comment about that Audio File Link that I posted yesterday, huh? --- Geez, whatÆs a guy gotta do to get a laugh around here anymore anyhow?
Quick! û Somebody pull my finger!
No? û Oh well
There IS some good news to reportà
After quite a few PMs and coordinating phone calls, thanks to the combined efforts of some of our Isuzu brothers - and one very helpful sister in particular - the traveling BigPoppa family is currently in possession of my replacement Steering Column and Steering Boxà However, they are not due to return from their out-of-town trip until Thursday evening, so IÆm basically left sitting here, waiting around (*loosing my mind without my Isuzu*) until then.
But once Joe calls to tell me theyÆre homeà Bubba, ITÆS ON! --- Me and that Rodeo are gonna go round-and-round until one of us cries for mercy!
And since IÆll be doing the work myself û Please feel free to start a Poolà (But I get a free slot û and IÆm picking me for the win, with a time of 24 to 36 hours )
I actually had a dream last night where I was driving my Rodeo again, after IÆd done the repairs û and everything worked just fine, thank you very much! --- Call me an optimist, but IÆll take that as a good omen!
I havenÆt said anything about the Pre-Run to Miss Kathy yet (Read as: æI havenÆt asked her if she'll let me go out and play a little earlyÆ ), but I suppose my chances for making it on Memorial Day Weekend just got a little bit better. --- At least now IÆm not out of the running completely anyhow. --- IÆll let you know.
Cheers! Smiley
