Are we camping in Callalantee or Crackers Neck?

Mark - We'll be camping at Callalantee...
As far as I know, there aren't any facilities at Cracker's Neck.

I guess IÆd better put my name out there for the next available shared campsite opening.
(It will just be me and the Rodeo - no tent)

But at the rate that things are going, if I donÆt find the answer to my steering problems pretty soon, it looks like I might be calling shotgun all weekend. --- As things stand right now, just getting down there and back will be plenty adventurous enough for me!

Ok-e-dokie

I went up there and spoke with Minnie's husband. He is also one of the Inforcers that run's around catching
people illegally trailriding,he is a cool guy and is looking forward to seeing something other than jeeps there.

Campsites 19-25 and possible a few more under 19 are the sites we can have for $10 a night. They all have electric but no water. We can run a hose from the bathhouse if we need water on the sites otherwise it's a very short walk.
The sites have almost no grass,it's lot's of gravel,so make sure to bring something cushy to put under your sleeping bag.I told him we needed those sites and he told me to call
minnie this weekend or stop by and let her know to save them.
So on Saturday evening or sunday morning I will go and reserve those sites.
I have Nat. guard on Fri/sat so I won't be on here til either late sat nite or sunday.

Is 6 sites going to be enough? If we run out of occupant
space, there is enough room there and he said we could get away with some over crowding with all those site taken.

There are no grill's on the sites but,he said there are 3 gas grills floating around the camping area and he will find out were they are for us.
I will keep every one posted about that.

Cool, guess that'll save everyone from havin to call up there. Thanks so much for kinda bein our eyes 'n ears up there for us. It's been nice to have someone local to make this pretty easy to get figured out . I can't wait to get up there and meet all you guys, but until then the troop hasn't seen much action in the past month since I've been home so I'm gonna take the old girl out and strech her legs this weekend on Beech Mtn. ........... Thanks again Bansil

Roll Me Over
(this is jessica.. too lazy to log out)

Rob and I will probably just be up for Saturday night and will stay in the hut provided there is room to park the trailer close to you guys. I assume we wouldn't need to pay for a site, but if they get upset that we are staying and not paying we'll pony up the money.

Me, my friend & DougH (from mitsu board) will be comming probably friday morning (leaving NY thursday night).

Don't know if we'll have 2 cars, 1 car, etc it depends on a lot of things, but as time comes closer we'll find out.

I'll have to talk to DougH to see if he want's to camp with us or what, but for know i'll asume he will.

Smiley, how many sites vs. people we have now (too lasy to do the math myself).
