IÆll try to get the rest of my photos posted ASAPà
Until then, here are a few Teaser Shots for your enjoyment:

Me û posing ità and maybe becoming a bit over-confident, apparently (More on that in a sec):

[Linked Image]

Scott û climbing the first optional line of Welder:

[Linked Image]

Note RobGÆs rig, just above the waterfall, in the background.

Me û On Welder, teetering off-camber (and quite literally about >.< that far from rolling it over ):

[Linked Image]

The only thing holding me up was having the front passenger-side tire wedged up against a huge log.

From the driverÆs seat, the Pucker Factor was easily a full 9 out of 10! --- And for the rest of the day, my typically dependable æSeat-of-the-Pants MeterÆ was significantly recalibrated.

I want to thank Chris, Joe, Doug, and Lisa for all of their help in pulling my beans out of the fire and getting me going againà and also, a big thumbs-up to my passenger - RuboÆs buddy, Asen - for not loosing it when we slid over, and all of a sudden the ground was right outside his window.

RobG & JoeD û after the trail-run, having fun at one of the old sawmill sites:

Hopefully these pix will do for now.

Ok, everybody that came to this event better be coming to the next Uwharrie. Jeez, looks like fun. How much of it do yall think i would have been able to do safely with my truck? (Safely=no body damage btw) I didnt do ANYTHING this weekend. My dad got some new cars, but thats it. Much rather would have been wheeling. Cant wait for the next one....

No, those pics just wont do thats just not enough pics for us guys that didnt/ couldnt go.

I'm kiddin, those are some great shots Smiley. If you're going to keep wheeling like that, you better get a full cage like RobG. Looks like you guys had a blast. I still havent had a chance to go up there when its not snowing. Last time we were there we got stuck on 1 trail oh well.

So how were the trails? Long, spaced out, hard to find and compared to Uwharrie? Was it busy up there, did you guys run into any other groups.

More Pics!!

later,
Angelo

Smiley - That's one heck of an off-camber climb

I think I would have creased the seat myself on that one. And I would have probably ended up with my wife in my lap had she been riding . Not the way to ease her into the sport.

Looks like some great trails. Wish we could have made it, but rest assured, I will be in attendance for the next ride, where ever that my be
