I agree. A weekend must be chosen soon enough for everyone to make appropriate calendar adjustments. There never is a perfect weekend. Seems to me the Halloween weekend has received the most positive comments. Just my $ 0.02 worth. It doesn't matter to me. I'm only an hour and a half away, and I can come any weekend, as long as my family is well. After the fall run we can always plan a smaller event in December for those who can't make it in October. Trails close after December 15 for winter.

I am basically waiting on smiley to make a new thread. I would try it, but he is so good at Photoshop, i just think a thread created by me wouldnt neccessarily carry as many "pieces of flare" so to speak. Come to think of it, Smiley has been abnormally quiet the past few days....wonder if we will have an interesting story when he comes back....... -J

Ok, in spite of the fact that I've practically dropped off the face of the planet since the last Uwharrie, and the only ONCE abused Rodeo has since undergone no mods, no upgrades, no repairs, and a lot of commuter miles, I'm actually down for a Crawloween date as a return to the saddle. Count me on the "prolly gonna show up for that one" list. I seem to recall a certian NOVA Rodeo guy who was going to sell me some add-a-leafs sometime in the spring... Sure would be nice to have those show up at Uwharrie for some late night wrenching...
In other news, Rubo - if you end up still licenseless but can make it to somewhere around DC, I'd be game for a co-pilot. Only caveat is you'll have to listen to the infernal ticking all the way down and all the way back.
