Lockers? what lockers?
Lockers are for people who are afraid of the skinny pedal .

This time around i might not even have my LSD in the rear (if i go 5.38's), so i'll have to show every one of you what an open/open Amigo is capable of.

P.S.

I still have some VERY dented nerf bars. They'll have to do for now, besides they get some extremely humorous looks at the office.

So are you actually going to bring the beast to Uwharrie? Actually, I cannot talk, I showed up in a minvan the last 2 runs. Hopefully, I'll do better this October!

Somehow IÆm getting the feeling that weÆre NOT talking about a human-powered bike, are we?

Alright, now its my turn to spit mountain dew out my nose. Bill riding a bicycle. Bwahahahaha. Nah this one is powered by 1100 hamsters. He says the jeep will be ready though.

Previously I would have agreed with you about the death wobble and told myself to suck it up and keep driving. I think it started when my wheel fell off though, so now I'm a little paranoid

Rubo- bring it! And if you regear, slap some lockers in there, might as well

[color:"white"] ::cough:: ::cough:: Ahem.... Now that I got your attention! [/color]

Allow me to interject for a moment and interrupt the endless rambling, countless planning, and numerous pages that are becoming the next Uwharrie thread!

Lets not be hasty and forget about the upcoming Tellico run at the end of August. What better to prepare you for another weekend of Uwharrie than a practice run at Tellico?

For some reason, Tellico has gotten a bad rap around these parts. The word on the street is you have to be hardcore to run Tellico... absolutely not! So don't let the rumor mill suck you in. Don't decide to play it safe and hold out for the next "routine" Uwharrie run. Come over to the dark side, to the Tellico run, and mix things up a little!

You may now return to your regularly scheduled programming!

PS... Bansil, you better not be bailing on Tellico, after all, it was your brainchild. ...and now I find you over here corral'ing with the enemy!

Well, add me to the maybe list Smiley. The Troop is not running right AT ALL right now. I just found out too, as my dad has been driving it for a while. Not really sure what is going on. Whenever it is started it knocks and pings and dies. Even if I stay on the gas it dies. It runs terrible for about 10-15 minutes and then is pretty much ok after that. At fist I thought it may be my cone airfilter but I doubt it and it is also due for a valve adjustment. So who knows. I'm gonna try to make it!

Chris, everything you described except for the running smooth after a few minutes part sounds like something to do with your Vacuum lines/ polution control system. I pulled a few tubes from my air filter housing, and it did that until i put them back right. Check that out, and run some Seafoam through it, it might be a carbon buildup or something.
Hope you can make it.

Keep an eye on your coolant. Hope and pray that the coolant doesn't start dissapearing. My 88 did this just as I was selling it. It ended up having a cracked head, and a burnt exhaust valve.

But you would have never known it driving it. It started and ran fine. It just had a bad case of the coolant being low and the oil being high.
