Dont tell me this is all the people we have going!! Patience, young grasshoppa. We still have a little less than 3 months to go. There will be more. If you plan it, they will come.

I talked to Evan (the kid that rode shotgun with Jonathan at Callalaente) today. He's bringing his Isuzu Pup('94), so I suppose he can be added to the list.

Hey Smiley,
Halloween weekend is great for me. Count me in. I'll probably bring a few friends, so I'll get my own campsite (friend has a Rubicon). I'll work on Matt and see if he can come this time. I'll have my tera low by Uwharrie.

Pete,
Glad to hear you'll be there! --- I really hope you get those Teras installed in time... You'll LOVE them!
Jordan,
The way things are going right now here at Villa de Smiley, I may end-up asking to camp at #36
At the present time, there is no longer a tarp to serve as the Uber Shelter... and prospects don't look very good for getting a replacement before October. --- Equally so, charging a campsite this go around isn't exactly the smartest thing I could do... If I do, I'll be using-up (yet another part of) my 'What if something goes wrong with the Rodeo?' emergency reserve.
Maybe things will improve before too long - but I'm not holding my breath.
In any case, I'll be there... even if I have to camp Old School-style, and sleep under my Isuzu.
(I just looked for a photo ^^^ but I can't seem to find the one I'm looking for.)

Six Isuzus, so far... still have three of them.

OKà yesterday I finally got around to replacing the tire that I gashed back in April. --- Of course, Sears and Goodyear each played a part in how long itÆs taken, what-with the 265/75s being on backorder and all û but 10 weeks sure is a mighty long time to wait for a warranty replacement, donÆt ya think?
Anyhow, a fair-bit of my bad handling problems are now vastly improvedà I still need to address whatever it is thatÆs wrong with the suspension itself - but hey, at least now it doesnÆt feel like itÆs trying to leap off of the road, in turns and over bumps, all on its own.
In other newsà
I got a call from Rubo last night. --- Apparently he read my previous post and took pity on my impoverished .
It looks like heÆll be coving the cost of #37 this time aroundà So, for those of you who usually ask me if you can camp there û I guess you need to be asking the new landlord û IÆll just be a tenant on this trip.
Alsoà
Has anyone given any thought to what they might like to eat for the Group Meal (or am I basically left to my own ærabbit-out-of-a-hatÆ creative licenses) ?
Cheers! Smiley

Has anyone given any thought to what they might like to eat for the Group Meal (or am I basically left to my own ærabbit-out-of-a-hatÆ creative licenses) ? I was thinking the other day that I might take a stab at Isuzu Iron Chef status . I was thinking along the lines of Chili or something that doesnÆt require a grill, since one of sufficient magnitude is usually hard to come by. At the very least, I'll lend a hand with the meal. Whatcha think Smiley? Andre
