Jordan, I don't know if i'd go so far as to say the driver deserved the flop or it was due to alcohol. I do think it was irresponsible of him to go off a designated trail to play on a rock, but I'm sure now he regrets that decision.

I also don't know if I agree about your claim there isn't much breakage at Uwharrie. I've seen more breakage at Uwharrie in a day than we did the entire week we were in Moab. With this hobby, it's the risk you take. If you don't want to break, don't take the rig out should be the statement we make to everyone thinking about coming to Uwharrie. Yes, through driving styles and trail choice we can limit that, but on that trail there are a lot of factors we can't control.

I agree with your point though that flops are rare at Uwharrie, but they definately do happen. I've seen 2 and have heard about a dozen more. I think Dave Chang can even claim they happen on flat ground!
