The only thing i can say is that I'm sorry I don't live on the East Coast, and don't have the funds to make the 1500+mi journey over there, maybe one of these days I'll be able to get my Zuzu butt overthere and have some fun with the rest of ya

Sure hope you can make it someday!

As it stands right now, we're planning on arriving sometime late Friday afternoon/early evening sporting a shiny new 3" lift w/ UBSkidderz and a new DOR Mark II Winch Bumper.

Coming with me are the wife, brother in law and his daughter.

Any of the spouse types who aren't into the wheeling thing interested in a perusing/shopping trip to Seagrove, the pottery capital of N.C.? Post up.

Oh, and we are bringing a new beastie, as the old beastie died last November, so no worries about flesh ripping carnage this time The new beastie has a significantly better temperament

Don: YOur quite the husband. I know making a pottery shopping trip post on a wheeling site isn't easy . Just kidding. I'm still trying to get my wife to make on of the events. Maybe APril will happen.

Well, my spouse can take or leave offroading (mostly leave ) but she is quite the shopper and Seagrove has approx 30 pottery outlets/potteries in a 5 square mile area; and there is some pretty cool stuff there so thats why I offered. Christmas is fast approaching, ya know

Keerist, I've been on this board for almost 5 years......I feel.........old

OH, BEFORE I FORGET::::::::

Everyone, after conferring with Nazrat sometime back, I'm planning to bring "brag placards" for each vehicle, hopefully on some type of card-stock so each person will be able to list their screen name(s) and list any mods they've done to their vehicle(s) and it can be displayed on the dash or affixed to some visible area on the vehicle.

I'll try to remember to bring some Sharpie pens, but it would help if others bring some if they think about it, or even broad tip magic markers.

Cheers,

That, my friend, is a damn good idea. Ive wanted something like that for sometime now. I dont know if yall know it, but it can be quite uncomfortable for newbies to the event to come into camp and not know who anyone is. (and likewise, for us not to know who they are...) It was a little uncomfortable for me the first coupla times i went up there. Ive made myself right at home, now though. On the placards, should be Internet Name, then REAL NAME, then vehicle info, etc.

And an RTI ramp would also be awesome. Ive wanted to test my trooper out for a while to get some figures, but all the shops around here either dont have one, or are letting some club borrow theirs.

Got my rocker bars put on today. Let me tell you...they were worth the wait (and moola!) ive already laid them down on a few rocks, and they are doing great. One question though, do yall think 1/8" wall thickness is thick enough? Thats what they made them of, and they said it was strong enough....only problem is, they make them all the time for jeeps. Not troopers that are twice as heavy. What d'yall think?
