Well, i finally got back home, and got all my crap put away, and finally get to get on the computer. I think it would be safe to say, this time was the most fun i have had at a Uwharrie in 5 times going there. Didnt break my junk, although others did (and they can tell you who they are ) Went up some pretty sick stuff with ease because of my recent modifications, and couldnt be happier.
Uwharrie was dry as a bone. Normally large mud holes are little more than small dust bowls, now. Robby, you wouldnt have gotten to play around much this time... The trails have changed, but are still pretty tame. Daniel wasnt unpassable to some, but most had to be winched/pulled up it. I hit the SAME TREE taking the SAME LINE in the SAME PLACE ON MY TRUCK as i did before, on Rocky Mount. Smashed in my rain gutter on my drivers side pretty well.
Thanks to Tad again for lending me that CB, and thanks to Andre for letting me ride along on Friday night. Thanks to Doug, SloppyJoe, and Andre for cooking the great meals. They were excellent. Thanks to Rubo for continuing to make me laugh throughout the weekend, and to anyone else i have left out, thank you.
I have pictures, but i am too tired to post them up. Ill get them up later. -J

I agree with Jordan. This was the best isuzu uwharrie trip for me as well. Tad, Mark, Joe, and others in our group, you guys know how to keep rolling on the trails. Really liked the pace. Looking forward to the spring trip.

It was a blast, as always I got back to the house about 8:00 tonight. We had a great turnout this trip. Quite a few new faces, as well as the usual suspects. Of course we missed all those that couldn't make the trip. The raffle was a great success Thanks to Bansil for coordinating everything. We had a bunch of great stuff donated. Thanks to everyone that brought stuff, including a big thanks to Matt for the Independent4x.com paraphernalia goodie bag Those of us who participated in the costume contest had a blast. We got plenty of strange looks from passers by out on the trails I had a long drive, but here are a few teaser pics to get you started. This was the trail debut of Bigpappax2's Rodeoport here on RML A little light in the rear on a night run Rodeo Guy on the ledge on Daniel. This obstacle turned into an all day affair I got a hand full of pics. I'll work on the rest. Andre

Great time wheeling with you guys. Found my tranny problem in the tacoma. Turns out the pins in the top if the shifter broke letting it move around and touch the dashboard. Still haven't dug into the front end yet but I finally FINALLY got the bound up hub unlocked.

I had a great time as well. To me, it was the best Uhwarrie since David Chang's surprise visit. The weather was perfect, a few new faces, lots of trail time.
I know we were moving pretty brisk, but if anyone has a pic of my trooper in the obstacle on dickey bell (I think), can you e-mail or post them. I'm interested in seeing off camber the high side actually was and how bad my incomplete sliders flexed.
Also, Can we add a carnage report to this thread? Somehow, I knocked my trooper back into alignment, but the steerling wheel is off by aboyt 30 degrees. Other than taht, trooper seems to have made it back in good shape.
Thanks to all for a great event. See you in April.

As always, I had a BLAST!I want to thank everyone for coming out and making this event one of our best yet Yes, there was some breakageà LTC Don, Rodeo Guy, and Yours Truly all snapped a Tie Rod û and Joe Darlington managed to blow out a Front Yoke & U-Joint on Kodak Rockà HatfieldÆs CVs were shot before we even got started, clicking and popping like all get-out û they eventually lost all connection with the hubsà but he never let it stop him û he kept right on going. The Best Carnage Award went to Rubo, without a doubt! --- He put on quite a show this weekend with his $300 Passportà I canÆt wait to see the video of him ôplaying aroundö in the trench on Daniel ( photos donÆt even come close to doing it justice! ) Rubo also snagged the Best Costume Award for his æDead-Ringer KlingerÆà (WARNING: Frighteningly Disturbing!!! û You may want to wash your eyes out with bleach after seeing it!!! ) So, without further adieuà [color:"white"]HALLOÆwharrie 2005

Sorry guys for being MIA without any notice, as I was on my way down the mountain on Friday I got an emergency call and was needed for work at the hospital. So, pretty much I was pissed all weekend as I was stuck in the E.R. and only got about 5 hrs of sleep over 3 days. Im glad everyone had a good time and I WILL see you all next trip. I also hope we can get a turn out like that at the next Callazu........

What - you call that an excuse???
Seriouslyà Your presence was missed, Bro. There were quite a few people who were really looking forward to meeting you.
Next time, if you can, maybe you should switch to stealth mode before hitÆn the road.
If we donÆt see you in April, I guess weÆll catch-up with you at Callalantee this spring/summer (unless Doug plans something sooner)
