Anyone know the guy in the green passport Sasha (spelling?)?

He was there Sat for the Daniel run. I didn't get to talk with him and I don't know his screen name. Thanks.

Joe

I'm having some technical difficulties getting my pics moved up to the DOR website. As soon as I do, I'll have them ready for viewing; there's close to a hundred.

Had a great time, and was really great meeting some folks and associating faces with screen names.

Cheers,

Need a Spot
Hey guys.

That was the shortest (distance-wise) Uwharrie day run for me, but your company made it a very fun day! It was great meeting you all and seeing your rigs! Now if I can only figure out how to get higher than a 3" lift and 31" tires and still keep it as a dailydriver...

I wasn't sure if I definitely can get in touch, so the pics and videos I have posted are not everything I have available. If you don't see your rig - let me know, if it is on my video I'll find it and post it.

Pics are at this link (there aren't many of them, you really should try to get the videos):
http://www.junovaart.com/nashe/pics/00pass/20051029-Uwharrie/index.htm

Videos are at the FTP site. You definitely should at least download and watch 'Rubo.avi' - it is great!

If using an FTP client (best option, look up 'smartFTP' client for Windows), login anonymously to the following site and download the entire 'Uwharrie20051029' directory (will probably take you 45 mins or so):

junovaart.com

If using a web browser (tested with IE and FireFox), go to the following link where you'll be able to download one video at a time:

ftp://junovaart.com/Uwharrie20051029/

You will need 3ivx video codec to view the videos. If you do not have it installed, download it from this site (it is free and has no spyware):
http://www.3ivx.com/download/windows.html

That video is awesome <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/kewl.gif" alt="" />

I just watched Rubo, and it actually does that run justice <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/lol.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/lol.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/lol.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/lol.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/lol.gif" alt="" />

Years in the future, someone will watch that video, forgetting it was a Halloween run, and be completely confused by the Viking and the Pimp <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/lol.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/lol.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/lol.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/lol.gif" alt="" />

It was great to meet you Sasha. You've got a very nice rig <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/kewl.gif" alt="" />

Nice video of me breaking a tie rod. Looks like my rear axle was already broken on that attempt though. Oops. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/lol.gif" alt="" />

Rubo, you my man are insane. Although last time when we were all right there at the same spot when Lisa didn't make it up the ledge, I was eyeing that trail. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/cyclops.gif" alt="" />

I was thinking hard about trying it then decided against it based on body damage. I see you have no concern with body damage. There's lots of character on Rubos truck now.

After Rubo arrived here Monday night, Miss Kathy went out into the driveway with my MagLight, walked around the Rubo'con, and kept saying "Oh m'Gawd... OH M'GAWD!"
