Like I said on the Planet, this april should be good so far. I think that 4 runs this year coming will be cool.

My showing up this April does depend on my truck situation. I ran my newly rebuilt transmission without gear oil for almost a week(not sure). I am still not sure what exactly happened although I think it leaked out the rear tranny seal into the dead space between the trans and transfer-case. Won't find out until another couple of weeks when I get the chance to tear it down. It might get even more expensive depending on what I have to replace now.

We shall see.......

if i can get this trooper in a decent condition i'll be there

As for that last post of mineà Long story short (No, really!):
The cause of my DSL outage is still unknown û however, they were able to get my æemergency backupÆ Dial-Up account to function properly.

At least now I can post messages with a reasonable expectation that they will actually show-up on the boards û before it was hit-or-miss (mostly miss )

Hey Doug û IÆm right there with ya, Bro - I've got æHamster-poweredÆ internet now too!

I might be able to make this trip, I have to see. I guess it depends on how my classes next semester are and how my finances are as well.

I would really like to make one of these trips sometimes this decade.

I'll be there. By the way...I don't think that I ever donated to the food "bank" on the last Uwharrie trip. Remind me, I'll bring something for this trip.

Doug,

Perhaps you didnÆt get the memoà

But on the second page in the RCBOB thread, Paisan mentioned the possibility of maybe towing your new tree-killing-machine to Uwharrie behind his Armada.

Hey, call me crazy - but isnÆt that what some people in certain circles would refer to as
æan offer you canÆt refuseÆ ???

Oh, and just to put an arrow through the heart of this one, once and for all:

The cause of my DSL outage is still unknown...

Somehow, on Wednesday, during a regional DSL service blackout - all on its own, apparently my modem got the bright idea to change the case of the letters in my password. --- Over the course of three-and-a-half days, 6 employees of my ISP never managed to catch it.

This afternoon, the 7th nailed it (via telephone) in less than 2-minutes --- So this one goes out to DaveTheTech at Frontier/Citizens >

As a result you might see that Uwharrie Calendar/Info Page posted a whole lot sooner now.

I think I might try and make it, just for the milder stuff, so I can make it home in one piece and not many all over the highway.

I'll have tires (YAY, more clearance under the skids!) and a new intermediate pipe skidplate by then... if not a custom one.

I fell asleep in front of my computer at about 3AM this morningà while working on the new calendar.
HowÆs that for dedication?

Anyway, it shouldnÆt be too much longer now.
