Yeah - with so few Isuzu logos, we might have to come-up with another name for the event...

IMPROMPTUwharrie?
(IMPort Rigs Of Multi-makes Plowing Thru Uwharrie)

Maybe I can talk a few more Toyota's into it...keep ya posted

LMAO @ both of you!

Maybe we could call it ToyZUwharrie! Or ToyHonZUwharrie to keep the Honda guys happy...unless of course they're happy with their Isuzu heritage I love IMPROMPTUwharrie!

BTW, is there a "things to do before Uwharrie" thread? It's almost amusing the things I need to do....well, if it wasn't me it'd be amusing

Then again, perhaps we should just call it Toyowharrie

What is the general consensus, do we need a few more sites.

I can afford to reserve a site if needed and was looking at something between 11 and 17. Let me know what you guys think.

Rusty, depending on what responses I get, if you don't mind, I'll call dibs on splitting your site. I have a small tent that can be stuck almost anywhere and I'd be glad to help you out with the cost of the site.

Well, I will either be brining a small tent or more than likley just sleeping in the truck, and my bro and his frind are gonna being a small tent for them. I was hoping to get a lil ground in the main campsite, and of course I will throw in some money for yea!

I was wondering the same myself in case I can't afford to stay Thurs. and/or Sun. night.

If you wanna pitch a tent in my spot you're more than welcome to.....wait a min. let me rephrase that!

I know you said a "main campsite" but if you can't find somebody to stay with Friday and Saturday night you're more than welcome to share my site. The only stipulation is I can only have 2 vehicles and 1 will be mine Even if I bring friend(s) they won't be bringing vehicles. I don't have electricity, but I just figured on mooching off of those with power

I don't really have anything to "share" with the rest of the group except maybe firewood. I've got enough for all of us, it's just a matter of how much I'll be able to fit in my Runner after my gear's in there.

~R

EDITChris gets first dibs on sharing my site if he wants it What days do you plan on staying Chris?

Sounds good.

Disregard my PM part about staying longer then

Besides, I imagine *if* I do bring a friend or 2 they're not going to want to stay the whole time...they'll use work as an excuse, but it's really because I won't let them drive, I just know it LOL

I've got enough (firewood) for all of us...

Rusty, I don't think you know who you're dealing with...
I'll bet if I gave it half-a-try, I could burn every solitary splinter of wood that you bring in ONE night!

(Anyone wanna Testify?)

Seriously - ANY amount of firewood that you're willing to share will be greatly appreciated

Chris - Tough call.

*IF* the 'question mark sites' actually belong to ISUZUwharrie attendees, then we probably have more than enough - *IF NOT*, then maybe having a few more might be a good idea.

*Shrug*

Just so you know - out of the sites that you listed, only #11 doesn't have juice - the rest do.

LoL! You're right, I probably shouldn't have said that; I've...but it's true after the ice/wind storms that came through this area. We had about 5 trees fall within the past month, unfortunately most of it's pine and the rest isn't dry BUTI've still got about 2 trees or so worth of firewood that's dried, cut, and will be put in every nook and cranny for Uwharrie. I've got at least 2 more trees that are dry but haven't been cut up. Oh and when I say tree I'm referring to a TREE (about 40') not some scrawny bush

I said I'd never do it, but I may actually mount my spare and other stuff on top; at least for the trip down to fit more wood
