Whew, my list has gotten a lot shorter, but that's partially due to giving up on some non-necessity items and lack of $$$. My DD hasn't been drivable for over a month now, so I think it's time to get her back on the road. Hopefully that'll be Wednesday when my rear diff finally arrives.
Things to do before Uwharrie- New and Improved! Install rear 5.29's w/ truetrac (en route) install front 5.29's w/ Lockright locker (ready to go in) Install Rocker Bars and extend shifters (need somebody who can weld) Install my 35's...hehe..hehehe..hehe...these things are HUGE! I hope they fit! Basic Maintenance (mostly done) Rear diff breather Install rear Hellas for those night runs Modify my new clear corner lenses to fit so I can pass inspection

for those of you who need space to camp, i will probably come alone with just a small tent and the montero. i've invited my wife and may invite a friend or two. most likely it will just be me. can't promise any space, but if you get there and need a place, come by my site. don't remember the number and it takes about 25 hours to open up the map page (yeah for dial-up isp), but it's the one across from the bath house with the mitsubishi emblem on it. paved path beside it goes right to the "main sight." you're welcomed to share the space if it's there.
already paid for, donations not accepted.
you'll have to put up with my obsession for captain kirk and his crew because i always bring my star trek original series dvds and watch them while the marathon meals are being prepared (some as long as 10 hours or so) and in between trail runs while everyone is repairing their rigs. i've been lucky so far. nothing broken in about 20 uwharrie trips.
arriving thursday after lunch...leaving saturday night...site reserved through sunday at 2.

...Chop up tree for Smiley Sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet ...i always bring my star trek original series dvds and watch them while the marathon meals are being prepared (some as long as 10 hours or so) You've GOT TO BE talking about Rubo's authentic (2am) Armenian Shish-kabobs, `cause I've never taken more than about 5 or 6-hours to prepare a meal in Uwharrie Like Robby, I too am æhomelessÆ on this trip. --- I was thinking that I might throw a tent up somewhere out-of-the-way, maybe on one of the small clearings along the footpath that leads to the main site, since our group possesses all of the real estate through there this time. --- IÆm still not 100% sure which Isuzu will be making the trip, but IÆm sure IÆll figure out somewhere to park. IÆm also not sure just how æUberÆ the Uber Shelter will be this time (or even if itÆll be setup on #37 for that matter). --- We shall see. 29 Days?

Like Robby, I too am æhomelessÆ on this trip. Smiley, I know the layout of #37 may not compare to good ole' #35, but you're welcome to park your zu' of choice, and erect whatever shelter you can cobble together. I hadn't spoken up previously because I don't remember how big the site is, and I'll be hogging a good bit of space with my truck, trailer, and tow rig You've GOT TO BE talking about Rubo's authentic (2am) Armenian Shish-kabobs, `cause I've never taken more than about 5 or 6-hours to prepare a meal in Uwharrie Speaking of food , anyone want to take a stab at Iron Chef status for this trip. Smiley has payed his dues many times over. We're really not all that picky Andre

Smiley, I know the layout of #37 may not compare to good ole' #35... You mean #39? Thanks Andre - that's one less thing on my mind now
