Well, looks like I'm out for this one, my wife has some minor outpatient surgery next Thursday (6th) so I won't make it to Uwharrie. Maybe I can make the next one. Thanks guys. Too bad... hope things go well for Brandy... Are you doing Black Moose or Morris Mtn? Not sure yet, most likely Morris Mountain b/c it's so close. I'll make the call about a week before that.

There's a possibility I can make this one, I'll know for sure on Monday. Rodeo will probably not make it though.

I tried waiting to see if the Monty would be finished in time before I responded, but looks like work has me tied up again. I was planing on arriving Sunday for the day and wheel with whoever was there, but maybe next time. I'll will make it out there and wheel with the few Isuzu guys I have gotten to know on past trips and lookin forward to wheeling with more.
As always, have fun in Uwharrie. I'll be waiting for those pics!

After busting my balls and having my 4Runner down for 2 months my radiator decided to make itself a 1-1 1/2" crack. If I can find someone to weld it pretty cheap I'll still be there.
Otherwise- I bequeath my site to Rodeo_Chris.
*keeping fingers crossed tho*

dragr1 & Angelo - Sorry we won't be seeing you guys this trip.
Rusty and Rodeo Guy, hope you can make it
I think I finished most of the work I had to do this weekend. Got the winch wired and working, and the bumper is tourqed down. I cranked up the front a bit to compensate for the extra weight. Just need to finish securing my tool box in the back, and load it on the trailer
Everyone finish up those loose ends this weekend?
I just checked the forecast for next weekend, and things look great. Shouldn't see rain, mid 70's in the day, and mid 40's at night. Can't wait

FOOD & CLOTHINGà
First, letÆs talk about Food: (yeah, youÆre probably wondering more about the æClothingÆ part, but hang in there )
If thereÆs enough interest, one of our veteran Iron Chefs has offered to prepare his mouth (and eye)-watering specialtyà an authentic Cajun/Low-Country Seafood Boil. --- This dish consists of Potatoes, Corn-on-the-Cob, a selection of Fresh Shrimp, and loads of fresh-water æMiniature LobstersÆ - all together in one pot with a healthy dose of ôBAM!ö
Naturally, for those who prefer less heat (or maybe object to the idea of eating ædiminutive shellfishÆ), there would be some alternative fare as well
So, what do ya think? û Anybody wanna kick it up a notch?
Now, about the Clothing: In October, since several of us had so much fun out there on the trails in our Halloween costumes û I thought maybe for spring we could mix-things-up a bit by having an Ugliest Shirt Contest Trail-Run.
I know this is short notice, but go search you closets, basements, attics, etc. for that unbelievably ghastly garment that your Aunt Colorblind got you for your birthday/Christmas/whateverà You know - the one that you said youÆd never be caught dead wearingà The more painful it is to look at, the better!
(He doesnÆt know it yet, but Joe Darlington will be the judge )
As for prizesà I have no idea, but weÆll think of something.
And just so you know - Yes, I intend to be a participant. I've got a shirt thatÆs so uglyà æHow ugly is it?Æ
Well, letÆs just say that IÆm setting the bar pretty high
I should be hitting the road in about 72-Hours (or less), and I havenÆt even started getting any of my junk together yet

we could mix-things-up a bit by having an Ugliest Shirt Contest Trail-Run Unfortunately, the "Spring Cleaning" Fairy thinned out my closet by getting rid of anything she hadn't seen me wear in the last year . I did manage to salvage a few choice items. I'll have to see what I can come up with, but I'm not buying an ugly shirt just for you Smiley The low country boil sounds like a plan. Count me in. You can have my share of the mud-bugs Smiley Andre
