It looks like you all had a blast out there. Maybe next year I'll have the tooper as my dedicated trail rig and I'll be able to come down from Maine to join in the festivities. There's a lot to wheel up here, but it looks like there's a lot of fun to be had down there. Anyone ever wheeled that old coal mining town? I think it's in PA, but I forget. I'd be real interested in going there and checking it out.

Keep it undah' a hundred,

Rob

No big deal on the door, there are 3 more.

Yeah, that guy was pretty funny. He laughed when I pulled up, but didn't say anything as I walked down from the top of the hill......

Well, till I started mouthing him.

Anyway I love my truck, I can run 80 MPH down the highway and get 18 MPG doing it. And still have fun in the mud and rocks.

Thanks everyone for making it yet another fun trip to the woods.

And a big thanks go out to Tad and Joel for helping turn the wrenches on the front of my truck thursday night getting the ARB and the diff drops in so I could wheel.

Joe

here are some pics dont remember the order. One is of how dusty the road was during the caravan. One also of the turtle. My trip home was uneventful. Glad everyone made it home alright. I lost the last dyas photos though. Looks like I will need everyone to go back and do it again this weekend so that I can get some more.

Great to meet everyone and thanks for all the great times. Look forward to trying to make caliente and definitly shooting for halowharrie. My son had a blast and really enoyed everyone. Especially bigpoppas son joey. We are lucky the did not burn the woods down.

Despite not having my Passport, I had a great time. It was great to see the new faces, as well as the usual suspects. I actually didn't spend too much time on the trail, so I only got a few pictures. It was either raining, or I was busy piquing Jerry Lemond's brain.

Here are the highlights:

This was a nice exo'd toy. ZMan had to grab my camera and snap a few pics for future reference.

Getting the Wheeling Fever
Well, as a first timer, Iwould have to say, that was some of the best wheeling I have ever experienced. And a return trip is definately in order! I would of liked to got to shoot the shi- with more of you Saturday nite , but I had to break camp after the last trailride which was " Daniel" to drive an hour back to my inlaws so that I could get a fresh start in the morning to drive back to Ohio. Those of you who don`t know, I was the one in the grey and black Amigo. My thanks to Joe D. for setting me up at his campsite and talking me in to coming on this run. And SAS "burgundy tooper" for also making the long haul from Kentucky, and taking some excellent trail shots

Trail Leader
I thought that I had already replied hereà
I know that I typed it up, but I guess I failed to submit it
(DUH! )

I want to thank EVERYONE for coming out and making this Uwharrie trip one of our very best events ever!

ThursdayÆs attendance was absolutely unprecedentedà
WeÆve never had anywhere near as many people show-up so soon. --- Instead of having our usual 2 or 3, there must have been dozen or more of you thereà which made Thursday nightÆs trail run all the better (except maybe for one brief seat-pinching incident involving a certain trail leaderÆs lack of judgment )

Naturally, I would like to offer some special thanks to Marc for (A) letting me drive his 4-Runner, (B) not killing me after I flopped it, (C) letting me drive it again the next day, (D) for cooking-up a killer Cajun feast for everyone on Thursday and Friday night, and (E) for just being an all around great guy!

Another special thanks goes out to Jerry Lemond for spending so much of his time talking shop and sharing his wealth of Isuzu knowledge with all of us. --- I know that Andre and I learned enough to keep us busy tinkering for a very, very long time

I really enjoyed seeing my old friends and making so many new onesà
I look forward to seeing all of you again very soon

Six Isuzus, so far... still have three of them.

Moderator note:

It's great to share pics here, but please keep the pics to a reasonable size. I edited some images to become links so they wouldn't stretch the width of the page to be too wide.

There isn't an exact rule for pic sizes, but in general keep the pics less than 600 pixels wide and less than 100 KB, although about 70 KB is best. This is so that people on slower connections and smaller resolution monitors can enjoy the threads too.

Thanks!
