Have not seen anything on this board or TTORA VA board, etc. Just curious has anyone heard if there is going to be one this year?? Sure hope so! Actually, that info is for the SE4RJ, not the EC4RJ. I've never been to the SE4RJ, since it's always the week before GSMTR and at the same location (Tellico). I'm sure it's a fine event, but I never quite understood that scheduling. Anyway, this year the EC4RJ is being planned by the Right Coast 4x4 Club, led by Eric (rocktoy), Randy (rccrawler), and Turner (Turner). You can check out their webpage at Right Coast 4x4. Beware though, the flyer they have up says that EC4RJ is the weekend of June 26th at Paragon, but they haven't set anything up yet and are planning on moving the event to August. If you check out their message board, you should be able to find the thread on the "Pre-Event" board. Oh, and speaking of the EC4RJ, if any of you have seen the most recent issue of Four Wheeler magazine, check out the back page where it shows what is coming in next month's issue. Also, GSMTR is during the week, which doesn't work for most of the people at our event.

I understand why it would be a different weekend than GSMTR, but I just wondered why it was so close to GSMTR. It pretty much makes it an either/or decision, at least for me. GSMTR always ran Wednesday - Sunday and now runs the whole week. I'll be at Tellico on Saturday, the 13th w/ some of my old buddies from NoVA setting up camp for the week. Maybe we'll see you guys on the trails!

Allen...sounds good havent seen you in ages....atleast since GDUB many years ago. Which rig will you be in? The runner or the 40?

Hey man! Yeah, definitely been a while.
I'll be in the 40 for GSMTR this year. I figured I'd give the 4Runner a year off from Tellico (after 7 years straight at GSMTR). The Cruiser is almost stock, so I'll be stuck on the bunny trails, but it'll be fun wheeling a stock truck again.
