Had to reschedule some stuff today, everybody seems to want to do stuff on the 4th of August. I managed to reorganized my schedule, and make everyone happy. See you guys, August 3rd, on thursday night.

Excellent!!
I had a slight change of plans. I will be heading down to Gig Harbor Wednesday night to visit a friend of mine. We've known each other since we were 4, went into Air Force together, and even named our first-born sons after each other. Anyway, I haven't seen him in about 6 years, and he's going to be visiting his sister in Gig Harbor the evening of Aug 2nd so I am heading down there Wednesday night.
Instead of caravanning down from Bellingham Thursday with my friends, I'm going to head out from Gig Harbor on Thursday and secure a campsite somewhere near the Naches Trailhead. At least we will have a good spot.
As stated in the first post on this topic, I will monitor CB channel 7 for people arriving, and will do what I can to arrange clear and precise directions to the campsite Thursday night.
I have provided links in this topic to a site that has directions to the Naches trail. Please make sure you know how to at least get to the Greenwater area.
Also, I bet it would be helpful to have cell phone numbers for everyone, so if you have a cell, and donÆt mind, PM me with your number so we can be in communication that Thursday while everyone is traveling.
My number is [edit: send a PM for phone number]. It's Cingular, in case anyone has the same provider and is worried about minutes.

Body Damage is Cool
Good idea to ask for people's cell numbers. My cell is [edit: send a PM for cell number].

I will keep my CB on channel 7. I'll be driving Northbound I-5, taking SR 512 east to puyallup, then 167 northbound to SR 410. I'll start listening to the CB as soon as I get onto SR 410, as I head for Enumclaw.

I will be towing my Amigo up there, so try and reserve a spot that's big enough for a tow rig and trailer. I would greatly appreciate it. I will head up thursday night, and camp with you guys that night.

Thanks,

Man, I wish.

OK, for anyone that is planning on attending, here is a link for the area around Greenwater, WA. We are camping near there Thursday night. If for some reason you do not take my cell number, this should get you to the area we will be in. Greenwater .
If you zoom in on the map, you will see a road about 1.5 miles south of greenwater called NF70. Turn off of highway 410 there, and you should find us. We will be monitering CB channel 7, and I hope to make us easy to find.

Hey, guys - I gotta back out on this trip. There is something odd going on with my Rodeo's tranny & the ignition switch. It's at the shop right now, so any extra moola I might of had to go is gone, too. I'll be envying every moment you're up there having fun...

Nooooooo!!!!

Man, it seems like the closer we get to the start, the more people have problems.
I just learned that James Tester's SAS swap is taking longer than expected, so he will not be attending either.
Don't leave me up there all alone with a bunch of Subaru's (Any Subaru people, I am joking) Isuzu's got to represent!!
Hope things go smoothly with your rodeo.
Perhaps we can get a run in before the end of summer.

Dang! It would of been great to see James, too - it's been too long!!

For me, these things always come out of no where and just when I have the least amount of funds. It turns out the ignition needs replacing, it's ben sticky for a couple of years but never a problem until now. Now when I turn it on it stays in the ignite postion (which leaves it rubbing on the fly wheel which is what caused all the tranny & transfer case noises & hard shifitng) so I physically have to turn it back to the on position.

Fortunatley I can still drive her - carefully. $300 would fix her by Friday, but $300 doesn't grow in trees in my backyard! Raises & bonuses come mid September, but I'm hoping I can get her fixed before then. Maybe an early Ocotber run? We still get good weather then!
