We'd like to announce the dates for CoZu8 this year as August 10th through the 13th in Buena Vista, CO.

We held the event there last year to great success, what with it's excellent mix of easy-to-hardcore trails and 4x4'ing friendliness.

We'll be staying at the KOA campground this year:
http://www.buenavistakoa.com/Campsites.html

I've already given them a deposit for at least one, if not two of the group sites, and all scheduling will be done through me.

To register for the event, go to:

http://www.planetbantz.com/cozu8/

Contact me directly if you have any questions, or reply to this thread...

Oh, and Randii - there's plenty of trailer parking at that KOA, but I can't guarantee any Jeep rentals nearby...

Conveniently less than 30 minutes away in beautiful Salida (thats salad-a to our Canadian friends ).

Hope to see you there...

Shep -

At least it's nice to know that you are still alive

We'll have to set up a separate day trail before the end of summer - call it "old Friends" day. A chance to see Isuzu owners from the Denver/Front Range area that don't make it to MoabZu or CoZu!

I'd really like to do this, but that weekend is the first weekend of the fall semester at the school where I teach, so the timing really blows for me.

Is anyone doing anything easy to moderate in the next few weeks that they'd invite a newb along for? Remember that I have no rocker protection and only about 2 - 3" of lift, so my participation would be limited to trails that wouldn't eat my truck.

It's my DD so I have to treat it somewhat gingerly.

Also, do you guys ever get together here in town to meet the new guys? I'd like to put faces and names together again (did it once at the Blue Bonnet last year) if I head out on the trails.

Bah... our rig is more capable than you think. Heck mine was a DD until ~ 18 mos ago.

So, we are doing Wheeler Lake on Sun and that would be fine for you to come, hop on over and find out more details.

We havent arranged anything lately that Im aware of...

Trailseekers mailing list is really where all the coordination for the runs occur.

Too bad you cant make it. Kyren starts school the Monday after, but we are still planning to go.
