Haven't been to Callalante before but this place must be good. Waterfall??? Poo on the reunion??? I will surely find some kind of way to make it. Count me in as a definite.

Now thats team work. I take it that these trails vary in degree of difficulty as well. I am shotting to put a locker in prior to this trip, also front and rear bumpers just cause I want to

My friends pretty hyped up about this to. You all try not to give him a hard time about the jeep though cause I have to do grand slam with him in september.

You fubar'd the link.

Should be: ReCALLAbration Run

OT - That is a bummer about the computer though. I understand the money issue but I still would find away to upgrade to at least the socket939 Athlon 64 . That is my opinion. You could even do older socket754 Sempron 64. I built one of those for a friend and I was impressed by its performance and how cheap it was. Enough rambling........

IÆll see what I can do about cannibalizing the thread from our last Callalantee event to at least supply some directions, useful links, etc.

Roy - I was about to do exactly that û buuuuuuuuuuuuuuutà

OT - Smiley, what happened to your computer?

àyou ought to know better than to ask me a question that requires more than a yes-or-no answer!

Anyway - hereÆs the story:

Kathy and I returned home from work one evening to learn that our power had been out earlier that dayà but æNo big dealÆ, right? û After all, itÆs happened plenty of times before without causing any problems (Well, nothing more than adjusting a few clocks, anyhow). --- So, I didnÆt give it another thought - and it wasnÆt until about 8PM that I even discovered that my computer was off.

Still, æNo big dealÆ, because I have a battery back-up/surge protector with a USB interface that shuts everything down automatically if the charge drops within 10% of the batteryÆs full capacity (assuming that no one is there to do it manually) û so I figured that the power must have been off for more than about an hour or so, and the system had simply done itÆs jobà

That is, until I went to start it back up.

In a nutshellà While I appear to have all of my hard drive functions intact (it starts up and seems to read from the drive just fine) - IÆm getting absolutely no PS2 or USB input recognition; therefore, I have no mouse or keyboard capabilities, and hence canÆt get my monitor awaken out of sleep mode. --- ItÆs nothing but a blank screen on System de Smiley.

If IÆm lucky, all I need is a new mother board û but since the 64bit MBs have been out for quite a while now, finding a Socket-A board locally has proven to be rather more difficult that IÆd imagined. --- Apparently IÆm either going to have to order something from the current (rather limited) selection off of the æAntiquated ListÆ at Tiger Direct (et al), or upgrade to the more recent (and considerably more $pendy) 64bit architecture - meaning IÆll have to get a new mother board & processor.

And as always, money is pretty tight at Villa de Smiley û especially now with TWO Isuzus to feed and care for - so Option (socket-)A is looking a whole lot more likely.

* Hmmmmmmm...
I wonder if I could have written a post that included those Callalantee links in the same amount of time (???)
