Getting the Wheeling Fever

Are there any campsites with power near the reserved area I could put a small 14-16 foot trailer in? The wife and 2yo are thinking about driving up and they want their creature comforts, not that I would mind having a little AC and not sleeping on the ground.

Erik,

There are probably 3 or 4 electrical hook-ups for the area weÆll be camping in - and as I recall, at least 1 or 2 of them went unused when we were there in Juneà You shouldnÆt have a problem getting some juice to that camper of yours.

So, can I add you to the Attendance List?

There should be room beside our camper, that will help block off the "Trail Cockroach" problem .

They don't have drinking water or dump station though.
You can fill up your water tank though.

I'll take a sticker or two.

There sure ain't been much chatter lately!

Anyway, here's something of an update for the Early Birds:

The PRE-ReCALLA Wrenching Party ~ Stoney Creek, TN ~ Wed. the 23rd

So far, hereÆs what the Cast of Characters looks like:

blevcom21 (Our Host)
Bansil
Smiley
4x4Mule
anubis
+ Friend

The primary goal for this gathering will be to address a couple of semi-major issues on my Rodeo û other than that, who knows (?)

As for directions to Jack's Place û You should probably ask Dougà
IÆm only about 75% sure that I can find the place again myself.

(BTW - When 4x4Mule and I head that way Tuesday evening, are we supposed to go to Rancho de Bansil, or straight to Casa d'Blevcom?)

Some of us have been working our butts off to get ready for this trip. I just spoke to Doug, and he was helpfull as ever in giving me some direction on making a spacer for my rear T-case output issue. Good thing I don't wait till the last minute or anything

One weekend left

Still no decision on food? I would be more than happy to whip up a batch of chili, but I don't really want to spend 4 hours tending it. Maybe an abreviated version is in order. Hmmmm.....

FOODà
Something quick, requiring little or no effort?

That sure sounds like a plan to me!
My Iron Chef Hat seems to have gotten heavier and heavier over the years.

With that 4-Burner Gas Range, I was thinking that we could fry-up, or boil û or whatever û something quite a bit quicker than the usual fanfare... Maybe hamburgers, hotdogs, beanie-weenieà (???)

Whatever -- IÆd just like to do a whole lot more 4-wheeling this trip.
