Seriously, I think she'd like this trip a lot. The facilities are much nicer than Calentee.

Also, Who all is bringing their spouses and/or chillins? There is a 50% chance that I'll be solo in the trooper and a 50% chance that I'll bring the family (and land cruiser).

easier said than done, my wifes idea of camping is roughing it at an embassy suites next to the beach. I think that uwharrie is great as far as ammenities but for her its no dice.

I will be there with the son in spring, hopefully with all the mods planned done. I look forward to seeing the pictures.

I too get greif from the wife about leaving her home alone. So this time I'm dragging her along <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/shiner.gif" alt="" />. This will be her first real wheeling trip, and I plan on throwing her behind the wheel <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/evil.gif" alt="" />

At the very least, she will be entertaining <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/pfft.gif" alt="" />

Anubis - Bummer you won't be making this trip <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" />

Gotcha. -- That sounds just like Miss Kathy's opinion of what's considered "roughing it"

Wife plans to come and stay one night. She's been before. She thinks crawling along on the trails is boring. When I'm driving she constantly says, "Speed it up!" and "Why are you going so slow?" When she's driving I hold my breath a lot and hope the cv joints, tie rods, skid plates, and everything else remains on the vehicle.

However she does enjoy the outdoors and hanging around the campsite playing her guitar. I'm glad to see Grace is coming again. Brandy will enjoy meeting her since she is entering the same career soon.

Chillins will be at their grandmother's house. Next year I plan to bring my oldest as he will be 3 in November.

Hope I remember to order that idler arm tomorrow. Not sure I want to wobble my way down US220 even though it's only a 70 mile trip.

my g/f and maybe a couple of her friends are coming with me. Hopefully, they won't complain too much. Hell, I think mandy even liked driving the old trooper last year. usually, she just hangs on real tight and screams whenever we go over anything challanging.
