So, is Callantee open all winter? Is the campground open or some other accommodations nearby? Yes it's open all the time. There is a motel in mntCity that offers fourwheeler rates <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/scared.gif" alt="" /> I need to check into this. Bansil

I'm heading off for Africa for a couple of weeks (climbing Kilimanjaro and teaching in Arusha, Tanzania). Let's make a decision on this before the end of November.

I'd be down for a Paragon run as well. I don't know if I can justify driving 800 miles SOUTH for a snow run. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/drunk.gif" alt="" />

Callalantee has popped up over at the Mitsu forums as a possible Jan/Feb run. Icy mentioned this thread I had forgotten about so I figured I would post up here to see what the Isuzu guys thought. So hopefully we can work togther between the Mitsu guys and the Isuzu guys to get a date set etc. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/kewl.gif" alt="" />

Callalante sounds good. I have commitments the weekends of January 18 and 26. Early February would be great and would also have the greatest possibility of snow. Thats awesome Pete I was wondering how you did on the climb, havent heard from ya since....Congrats on the summit. That looked like it was fun and CHILLY <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> Feb would work for me then if we are gonna try and get a bunch of folks from Mitsu in on this.....but then I am only an hour away so I can go whenever anyone else can. My vote shouldnt count that much since the folks from further away need more time off, etc....I will just go with the flow of whats best for everyone else <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/kewl.gif" alt="" />

From what little some of the Mitsu guys are saying they are leaning torwards Feb/March. No matter how much I would like to lean to March (could use my own insignifigant bday as an excuse plus funding) a Feb trip would give people some time to re-organize for an April Uwharrie trip. I know its a bit far off to be thinking of April when its not even 2007, but a bit warmer weather at Uwharrie sounds nice right about now. So who votes Feb and who votes March? <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/kewl.gif" alt="" />
