April would be good for a Uwharrie run becuase they would be open. But a lot of people want to make a Jan/Feb/March run to hold them over. We will see what everyone says.

haha, i dont know about taking over . I've been to the Isuzu events and they usually out number us 15 to 1, 10 to 1 if we are lucky.. But I would love to try and make it up. As usual, i'll have to wait til time gets closer, then I'll know what i'm able to do. If I were to vote, I'd go for Feb to Callantee. But i'm not voting yet cause I dont know my current status. Just thinking out loud

Hope to see you guys there,
Angelo

I think a feb callalantee/april uwharrie would work well.

Im not gonna be able to make it to a february run, but ill see about april.

Usually when there are events, in back to back months, the turn out for both can be...lackluster.

All I can tell you is this:
Come April, *I* will be in Uwharrie!

àa Feb trip would give people some time to re-organize for an April Uwharrie trip.

Agreed! --- I learned the hard way that scheduling the events too closely together can make things pretty tough on your budget... The August Callalantee came at the end of the month, and the October Uwharrie at the beginning, leaving only 5 or 6 weeks betweenà

For that reason, IÆd really like there to be as close to 2 full months as possible between all of the East Coast events this year.

Something likeà

February û Callalantee
April û Uwharrie
June û Callalantee
August û ???
October û Uwharrie
December û ???

àmaybe?

I agree with ya Smiley on that. Two months is enough time to recoop financially and fix broken parts to get ready for another event. Sounds like a plan to me....
