Some Mitsubishi guys are organizing a Dec 1st-4th run, right before Uwharrie closes till April. This event is open to everyone, all brands, the more the merrier. The people interested in going so far:

Eli (1988 Dodge Raider)
Sparkem (Yota maybe? or Gen Monty?)
Angelo (1999 Montero)
Roger (1991 Montero
Chris J (1988 Dodge Raider)
Icysyrup (2003 Montero)
Curtis (1988 Dodge Raider)
Ruben (1997 Montero)
Smiley (1997 Rodeo)

We will be reserving campsites at the Arrowhead campgrounds as the dates get closer. Suggested supplies include Boots (waterproof is a plus), Winter Clothing/Jackets, Camping Gear, Fire Wood, and plenty of food. We plan on hitting up all the trails, so 31" Tires at least or better is recomended. I have done all the trails except for part of Daniel on 235/75's so it can be done with stock tires, but not advised (if it rains especially). Expect weather in the 20-30's, so be prepared to have the heat on in your vehicles.

We will have the Calendar plus Campground Reserved Map up soon.

Cool, Im in. I will reserve a site as the dates get closer. Big cook out at my camp one night. I might bring a pot of Gumbo or Red Beans and rice. I am going to put my roof rack on and bring some fire wood.

I just want to tell you both good luck, and we're all counting on you.

Interested... YES!
Likely... Not very

I'll see what I can do, but I really doubt if I'll be able to make it.

I might be able to go. If I can, I will have to take apart my dash.....because my season pass slipped between the dash and the windshield. That ought to be fun...

Not as much fun as I have in store. I found the leak. Intake manifold gasket. I need longer arms or smaller tires. And I hate working on my montero in cold weather. Gonna have to persuade Brandy that it's time to buy a different house. One with a heated garage.

Hope you can make it Roy.

I would say go for it if it happen back in April, but now, fo-geta-bout. Hope you can come. Hey Roy - Instead of taking apart your dash -or- paying $5 a day...
(Assuming that I'm not coming - which it looks like I'm probably not ), just stop by Janet's and ask to borrow my Season Pass (#0004).

It cant be that hard to get that thing out. Rubo (sp?) and a few guys changed a Toyota auto tranny front seal there. We can get a sticker out of a dash.

Just a little over one month to go. For you non-mitsubishi guys who don't visit the mitsubishi talk section frequently there's a thread in that section about this trip. Follow the link in the first post of this thread to get there.

Would love to have anyone join this final uwharrie run of the year, no matter what you drive. This is NOT a mitsubishi only event.

Now I've got to get around to replacing that intake manifold gasket or whatever it is that's causing the leak before this trip slips up on me.
