Getting the Wheeling Fever
Well 2007 slipped by and we were able to take the Trooper on its maiden wheelin trip. All said and done it did well, however ground clearance proved its biggest weakness.
I have also met and made plans with Matt at 4xIndependant to ditch the factory side steps and fabricate some sliders with integrated steps for the wife and little people in the family The wife has agreed to a mild (3-4") lift and a set of 33's when the current set of tires wear out.

Anyone that is interested in hitting the dirt let me know!!

That's all I have gotten through the finance dept (wife) at this time but, yes I have many upgrades planned.

On another note glad to hear that Smiley made the move to Richmond!

If the wife likes her outdoor experience to be 'clean', score the budget for onboard hot water. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/notooth.gif" alt="" />

Plans already in the works for a propane fired water heater. I think it's made by a company named "zodi" or something along that line. Nice simple system though. They also make propane fired tent furnaces with a battery powered blower. Compact, lightweight, just set the furnace up outside of your tent and feed the 4" duct into the tent. A friend has one and is great for warming up on cold mornings or for changing kids clothes (ever try to get a 5yr old to change when it's 35 degrees)

Our first trailride will be this spring up the Shoe Trail to the top of Crabtree Falls.
