Cost: $5 a day for passes, or $30 (?) for a season pass (can be bought at the outpost)

After a little bit of discussion in the Mitsu forums, we decided a date on our July Uwharrie run (last year it was the 30th). With everyone taking vacations, and the 4th falling on a wed. we figured a perfect time would be the independence day weekend. People will still be on vacation, but the family bbq's etc will be done. This event is open to all brands, and anyone looking to have some wheeling fun (a dose of common sense is required though).

Schedule: While each day isn't planned out, the main wheeling days will be Friday/Saturday with early bird Thursday and late departure Sunday.

Campsite Reservations: As usual we will be camping at the Arrowhead Campgrounds. There are two ways of reserving your campsite:

What to bring: Besides the obvious camping supplies (tent,chairs etc) make sure to bring any firewood along you can. Also we will be cooking group dinners at night, so any food you would like to pitch in would also be appreciated. Also a good pair of waterproof boots are a good idea incase it rains.

Directions: I would suggest using mapquest to get to the Eldorado Outpost, then getting a trail map inside with your trail pass to get to the campgrounds.

This will be our first event that will include its own custom merchandise.

During the Event:T-shirts,Hats, and Stickers (Bumper & Oval) will be offered at COST. As soon as the design is finalized we will be taking orders till the week before the trip (same goes for canceled orders). Items will be given out during the trip upon payment. We should be carrying a few extras of some items, but due to upfront costs only guarantees will be put on pre-ordered items (payment isn't due till pickup during event).

Post Event: We will be taking the pictures/video from the trip and turning them into items such as Calendars, DVD's, Shirts etc. It all depends on how much content we get.

I def need to go but as of now, the only day/ days looks like sunday and monday. If there is more interest in a later start veruses an early start, maybe Fri through Monday? But also, Is that the best weekend considering it is after 4th of July where there is a possiblity that people spent alot of money/ came back from a 4th of July vacation? Maybe it is a good idea since people have off already, but it could be a bad thing too. Its early on so everything is still open for changes. We could extend it to Monday possibly. Because I know most people won't be showing up till Friday anyway, Thursday is tossed in the for people that want to show up early. As far as people spending money, that is true, but with the event close to the holiday people might stay at home for the 4th with family have a bbq, then travel out for the wheeling. But if it turns out I am totally off base we could move it to the next weekend. But lets hope all goes well for now. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/kewl.gif" alt="" />

Here is what is planned for the shirt design. Logo on front, list of attendee's (Vehicle,Name.State) on the back.
