Its staying at the top of my driveway on the soft lush grass relaxing till I get a 5spd trans for it . As far as the red truck goes the Alternator isn't where its shown in the manual. And if I am not mistaken the bracket that should be holding the Alternator is still on the truck. Instead its tucked down at the bottom of the truck where it would take someone with skinny arms and tiny hands to get to it. Even if I removed the fan shroud, and the entire fan, it would still be a mega PITA. Besides the fact I have to find some magic spell that makes 12mm wrenches appear because thats one thats missing in my limited tool supply (aka I have no vehicle to go take to an auto parts store).

Anyway...my fan belt whoes aside, Roger was right we should should really do this again soon. Maybe organize another little trip before the big Oct trip rolls around. Can't wait to see the video's Ruben!

Well we did have a great time. Ruben you don't "need" those 33's. I guess I don't "need" 35's either but when these 33's wear out that's what will go on next. So you should just go ahead and get 35's too. Eli don't forget to pm me your address if you want that radiator cap.

I'll have to go to my father-in-law's house too see the pics and video. I only have a 28k dial-up connection at home so all I can see are the top third of the pics. I won't even bother trying to see video here.

I usually creep through all mud pits because I hate to clean up the mess afterwards. But I must admit I thoroughly enjoyed my romp through the soup bowl this time. I got most of it off yesterday but it will take several hours to get the rest off.

Wish it would've been just a little cooler on Friday so I could've stayed overnight for Sparkem, Joe, and James. But I was close to heat exhaustion by the time we left the trails. I don't take the heat very well like when I was young. But that's a long story that involves being a fireman that I won't get into now. Anything over 90 forces my inside.

If we do this again before the Fall, maybe we can get up real early (I know...GROAN...) and hit the trails by 8 and ride before the temp gets out of hand.

But if not, see ya'll in October.

Roger

I thought I saw a little ding in the sheet metal right underneath the visible rocker panels....guess I was right heh.Trying to remember what trail that was on... good looking videos so far, can't wait to see the rest!

(only thing is I think you may have the same video twice on the descent one)

EDIT: Since you got them all up, I must say the Soup Bowl Video is my favorite. And you were right the video didn't do the Dutch John Hill Climb justice from inside your truck. Again... the soup bowl video... NUMBER 1...

Ruben, the coolest Englishman I know, did you install the locking diff yet?

I like your truck too pastor.

I agree 100% Pastor has 1 CLEAN Gen1, and that Gen 2 will be Bombing with a Locker in the rear!!!

You need a 2 inch Body Lift, and 35's then.

Thanks you two. 35's would be cool, but I might struggle with 4.272 gears! One simple mod that must be done before the next trip is to remove that damn tow hitch I smacked that stupid thing a few times. I think I'll do a cmonty72 hitch.

The locker will be in by October and may be 33" MT's

I like the laugh at the end of the mud one.

I just want to tell you both good luck, and we're all counting on you.
