Yesterday I installed a new CB! Tired of undependable communications. The Runner is 95% packed and ready to go. Just need to see if I can raise my exhaust as it's quite vulnerable now that the new bumper's on. [/quote]
Well you did and now consider yourself warned,we only allow you along because of Chris

Ah I cant wait.. I'm getting off work noon on thursday and I'll do my best to beat traffic as I have to drive through north LA to get outta So Cal I should be getting there late thursday night hopefully I'll be able to find the campground If I make good time I could make it there by dusk, but I'm not counting on it. Just so Carlos and Russ know, extra gen 2 parts I'll be bringing; one set of tie rods, an extra hub flange and a U-joint i have lying around. I have a passenger side half shaft I'll bring if I have time to pull it off the extra front end pieces I have in the garage. I have my tire repair stuff but Im low on plugs if anyone wants to bring a pack (may come in handy). Also, I lost my Hi-Lift jack in Pritchets Canyon last year in Moab so if someone has one that they can bring that may be usefull too Of course bring your normal assortment of recovery gear ie tow straps, D rings etc.

It looks like I'll be arriving late on Thursday as well, my son has try-out from 7-8pm
We'll have everything pack and ready to go so that we can leave right after his game. I would say arriving at midnight or so

My wife Lucy will be with me. My daughter is in Idaho visiting family and I'll be picking her up after the Con. My dog is staying with a freind too so we'll be trying to pack as light as possible.
